  • ha'a*

  • @mcmillspiece Honestly, we can keep passing the ball back and forth or just accept that I am a "white boy" and you're a faggot who takes it in the arse :/ Don't expect a reply to you're next comment. You'll just make yourself look immature and foolish

  • @mcmillspiece Naah not mad brag. For your information, Laters is a New Zealander expression just like "chur" or "no worries" or "sweet as". Study more before talking shit.

  • @Player2Joined sigh...mad "brah"

  • @mcmillspiece Well if we go back to the topic...unless you feel the need to ramble on...YOU DONT KNOW SHIT ABOUT THE HAKA, NEW ZEALAND CULTURE, OR WHO THE FUCK I AM. GET THE DICK OUT YOUR MOUTH FAGGOT, WIPE AWAY THE CUM FROM YOUR EYES AND LOOK. YOU WERE WRONG ABOUT THE HAKA, SO YOU FELT THE NEED TO USE YOUR SORRY ASS TO SEARCH UP THE NAME PLAYER2JOINED, A FUCKING PLAYSTATION 2 NAME. HURP DURP THAT HASNT BEEN USED. once more, have fun sucking dick and getting ass fucked before you die. Laters

  • @mcmillspiece Im Maori. You're a faggot. Get over it. However long I talk to you you're not going to believe me. I really bet the name player2joined hasn't been used before on the internet has it. Yes, it is weird that I'm a "white boy". However a few pages on you'll find that I'm also an "asian 49 year old woman, who plays starcraft"......? nuf said. This is retarded.

  • @mcmillspiece Furthermore, the haka that is being performed, Kapa O Pango, is not a war chant, its a ceremonial haka, which talks about the men in BLACK meaning the All Blacks, so why are they performing it???

  • @mcmillspiece and no, I think she left because you're most likely middle aged, fat and bald. How did this conversation get to this. Listen dipshit, why would I lie about myself, I'm proud of myself and what I am, Im proud to be a Maori, and considering that this topic has nothing to do with the slanderous filth which is the "haka" of Hawaii, this convo is pretty much done. Choice bro.

  • @mcmillspiece hahahahaha. Yeh out talking to women. Pretty sure watching a video on how to get women, because you're self esteem is at a low (most likely because you're middle aged, fat and bald), is not classified as "out talking to women".

  • @mcmillspiece Removed your own comment? haha. Now can you talk about your troubles with women...go on...or are you ashamed?

  • @mcmillspiece Haha sorry for a fucking spelling error, chill the fuck out. I like how you avoided the part where you need advice on girls.

  • Jesus, your fucking ridiculous....This is obviously going nowhere, as Ill found out where you live eventually, not being a threat, just seeing as how easy it is to access internet data. See you, have fun with the rest of your amazing life in New Mexico.

  • @mcmillspiece haha I googled "myself" as well, and apparently "I" am on tumblr, twitter, a porn website and at least 2 others. You don't think theres another person called player2joined on the internet? Its like asking if theres a fucking "John" in an office, theres bound to be one. Now I REALLY recommend you show this to your "class" and your "administration. Well since your stalking me...I see your having troubles with women, looking up videos on how to pick up women in a bar...nice...

  • @mcmillspiece Who said I lied about my origins, and how about you show this to the person in your administration in your school. Hi class, just wanted to let you know what a self centered prick your teacher is. By the way, ask him about Maori culture, and see how much he knows about it.

  • @mcmillspiece I really like you're "teacher-like" vocabulary you use...do you use that with you're class? And once again I haven't said false for the last 5 comments now, unlike you I am not a school teacher...so stop being a bitch and getting all worked up. And I am not a "white-boy" I am a maori, my decent is purely maori, I live in Tamaki Rotorua, so is that maori enough for you? And yes, I am an "expert" if you will on Maori culture, unlike some punk from New Mexico. Move on...

  • 1. no reply?

    2. Your twisting my words, copy paste where i said "You will be dead longer than you live is false"

    3. You're "debate" was pretty shit wasn't it, considering you told him to get off his high horse. So don't tell me I'm getting off topic. You did exactly the same thing...and you made it seem offensive at the same time...and yes...youre being arrogant, saying you don't care about if were offended. You would understand if you were from New Zealand.

4.Havent used false for 5 comments.

  • @mcmillspiece Ha. Im sure of it. And besides, now you have decided to go back to the topic of the Haka.....well i say back...you never started with it. Anyways since you're ready to talk about it...first you teach at New Mexico State.....New Mexico State....hmm Im sure you're all very knowledgable on the topic of the haka considering you're in New Mexico. I say all this however what would a person from New Zealand know anyway?

  • @mcmillspiece 1.) False. This is because everything that you've said so far is incorrect, making you...stupid? to use a basic vocabulary, however I could go into more detail on which points you were incorrect on and reference them. 2.) False. You didn't start your conversation with "mcmillsspiece" with anything about it being offensive, merely telling him to "get off his high horse" and referring to your rather degrading mascot, which one would usually not be proud of.

  • NOT EVEN CLOSE TO BEING THE HAKA, please COME UP WITH SOMETHING WITH YOUR OWN DAMN CULTURE NO OFFENSE.!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @mcmillspiece False. Death is not something controllable by the user, therefore making life the longest thing you will do.

  • @Player2Joined 2(.5?) False yet again. I am not a gamer, merely interested in the Black Ops Theatre Mode system, making it available to upload short 30 second videos with the click of 1 button. However as you said, yes..irrelevant other than the fact you actually spared time out of your precious day...to look at someones profile searching for his next insult...but yet again...irrelevant. 3.) You just restated that life it too short....need i say more? were going in circles.

  • @mcmillspiece False. Life is the longest thing you will ever do.

  • Oh please. Acting like you maori when all you guys is Australian. You don't see Hawaiians crying about ancestry every time some dumb haoles try hula. Keep doing your cute dance for your soccer games and shut up.

  • All ove the world people think that teh Haka is for show but trust the caucasians to make fun of it

  • This the Ha'a... Its their own "haka" so to say... sooooo..... yeah

  • wat are they sayin???

  • Nothing is original, nothing! So many stories and traditions about this war chant or that one...until we accept with pride the cultural copies of what we considers "ours", we will always be many seperate peoples. Black, white, island ,desert...why not work to be "one people" but many variations. Anyway - Haka inspires the performers much more than it intimidates the opponents. Apparently it didn't do either for Hawai'i vs. UGA in the Sugar Bowl. Teach it well and it will live!

  • See "Hawai'i Warriors Perform Ha'a after Sugar Bowl"--it is the real deal. U.H. now does 'ai ha'a instead of the Haka--a genuine Hawaiian warrior breathing and focusing chant. The Haka was banned for being "culturally inappropriate" and intimidating (ka mate), so Chad Kalilimoku and Leonard Peters consulted with experts and did this Ha'a...No disrespect intended for the 'Aotearoa Maori!

  • what the fuck was that

  • @johnsonset it was a haka a hawii warrior chant

  • I can`t believe the amount off negative comments about our brothers from hawaii, We as in maori can trace our roots back to hawaii, We as in maori have a spiritual link to our homeland we left behind, You should be happy the haka lives on through our ancient brothers the hawaiians.

  • @NZTGI he TINO tautoko ahau!!!!!

as NZTG said they are our whanaunga!

  • what a fucking joke.

  • tooo bad fresno state killed hawaii

  • that wasn't a haka

most of the moves looked as if they were rushing it.

  • i think that the worst thing about this haka... its not only that they copied it off the Maori, but is this wat its come down to? did hawaiians lose that much of our roots that we cannot remember our own war chants? When America came to conquer hawaii in 1892 they viled the hawaiian culture and language... which meant they had a big part in destroying our culture... even though they said they're sorry they can never replace the culture that was destroyed so many years ago

  • disgraceful, dont the have any respect to the Maori people?

    idiots

  • hey Hawaanlady, who did they get permission from? The All Blacks have already said they dont wont people copying this haka because it was written for them and ONLY for them. I think YOU better do some research. Do these fullas even know what this haka means and what/who it stands for? Can they even translate this haka? Can you?

  • UH is AWESOME undefeated season!

  • The haka they are trying to do is a disgrace. Te Kapa o Pango was written soley for the All Blacks. No-one else.

  • Its not a disgrace, they had permission by All Blacks because our UH jersey is also black. do the search buddy, the interview was on espen. Thank you

  • read my comment i posted

  • All out of time and rushing the actions...Kapa Haka is aggressive but controlled as one voice...Invite me to your country and I'll raise the level by another 12 easy....

  • As Maori, we are proud of the Haka. Seeing it done like this dishonours me and my Ancestor who originally composed the Haka "Ka Mate" It should be respected with the correct wording and the right actions. The Haka honours our ancestors whom performed Haka hundreds of years before I was born. People should respect the nature of Cultural War Dance here in NZ or in the USA. Treat It Right and dont trample the Mana of Ngati Toa Rangatira!!

  • i thought that all island nations had there own destinct war cry so maby they are not copying it they are just proforming the hawaiian version idk i was just saying please correct me if i am wrong

  • you should be proud brother cause you are descendent of LIONS (ROAR)

  • @Kingite1 This is not Haka. Its called Ha'a originated from Hawaii. its similar coz Hawaiian are also Polynesians.

  • @berelulul Actually you can tell pretty easily they're doing some modified version of Kapa o Pango. The Ha'a that UH does now is different.

  • @kryptoniceffect

thats not a "modified" version of Kapa o Pango, its a total rip off of it.

    Shameful.

  • @Kingite1

i know what you mean brah, its a pain when people do it wrong, and so many teams all over the usa disrespecting native culture's for example the redskins, tired of people treating cultures wrong like that i feel the pain, i'm half Eskimo and half red skin, i truthfully dislike my Eskimo side, language is dying here, when i was growing up listening to the language, trying to learn it, when i got a bit older the expect people to which to the main dialect language!

  • they fucked that haka up bigtime. only da all blacks know how to do it proper

  • well i just think its good that they embrace it but i rekon they dont no what any of waht they are saying plus it should only be resuved for kiwis polys and any other kiwis not fucking american tryhards riping of our new zealnd hakea dont you think it our new zealnds not usas

  • Hey dont label ALL maori in one boat thank you. I am maori and am proud that others have embraced some of our traditions. For your info Maori ARE polynesian and I have nothing but respect for my Tongan, Samoan, Cook Island etc cousins as well so dont go assuming just cause the maoris you may know bash the other polys dont mean we all do. Its a pity that whoever taught them this haka didnt give them the full meaning behind Te kapa o pango cause if I remember correctly UHs team is green and white

  • Maori's are not polynesian, if they were they wouldn't be so ferocious and negative about other islanders using their culture with respect to spread to the world. Educate the islanders if you feel that it's not done right, if it was a samoan or tongan, tokelauan, hawaiian, etc..ha'a, lape, etc we would've been proud and excited that our culture was chosen, and would try to educate others if it was done wrong. Get a life- get that stick out of your butts.

  • disgrace 2 see westeners abuse our southern culture they dnt no wat there sayin!terrible its offending for polyneasains to watch this

  • I dont see the offence. Every white man in the world wants to be irish. (Secretely I just know the Italians do! lol) And we love that shit! Our culture is our shief export!

Maori is a very cool culture in fact all the pacific and polynesian cultures are, I think you should be proud that this great dance has influenced these lads!

  • Kia poturi ake te takii lol! Youz are going to fast!! But kei te pai!

  • What does that mean?

  • Good idea short wick

  • The All blacks haka is should be called the POLYNESIAN HAKA because not all are maori.

  • Remember shortwick not all in the All Blacks are Polynesian either if you look carefully the majority are Caucasian or Melanesian therefore your ignorance shows you have no respect for Maori protocol if your prepared to rename a piece of our heritage the POLYNESIAN HAKA You cant just change a MAORI ICON to suit the people preforming it. I don't have a problem with our Hawaiian relatives doing it I just encourage that their taught the rite way

  • Not all are Polynesian either you idiot! And I think thats why you'll find its called THE ALL BLACKS HAKA when they perform it! Use ur brain kid!

  • "The All blacks haka is should be called the POLYNESIAN HAKA because not all are maori."

LOL, i believe the sentence should of went like this:

"The All blacks haka is should be called the POLYNESIAN HAKA because not all are black."

  • UH, WE ALL RESPECT AND SUPPORT YOU. The Haka is becoming even more popular, which is due to the efforts of Sports, it's our Polynesian children who choose to share their culture and their teammates who embrace it. The Haka is being done in a lot of schools USA and Europe. We look for the heart and they ALL have it. For the haters, if your a true Polynesian, you'll know that our Pride has always been in the acceptance of others and their openness to our culture, not the imperfections. Aloha-

  • Explain why UH did the Ka Mate then the Kapa O Pango before (finally) doing a Hawaiian one if they respect Maori culture? Why do BYU Tongans do the Ka Mate and not a Kailao? Why do so many Americans now do the Kapa O Pango when they clearly have no idea who it was written for, what the words are or even what the title means? Wheres the respect in that?

  • chorr

  • let the allblacks do this

  • I know their not being disrespectful and, in a way, it's a tad flattering.

  • Then why are the words very very similar? Why are the actions very very similar?

A lot of schools all over New Zealand create their own haka - totally different from the All Black's ones. UH should come up with a more original, unique war dance. It's not that hard, really. If they think very very hard:)

  • its pretty similar...there are slight differences when UH performs the Kapa O Pango. check out a full length clip of it. sometimes it hard to notice but UH does the Kapa O Pango haka because they kno how powerful it is and just wanted to bring the team closer by gettin in touch with the polynesian roots of Hawai'i. but I hear what you're saying. but just know that UH doesnt do the haka to disrespect it ok? it'd be cool if we had a hawaiian war dance done.

  • this is modified version of the haka. CUZ the All Blacks copywrited theirs. it was created in POLYNESIA! HAWAII IS POLYNESIAN. HAKA IS HAKA. all mean the same.

  • hawaii Na ka oi!!

  • CAN u guys shut the FUKK UP !~ ya stRAighT trIPPn!~ these are my bOYz aNd if YA goTTa PROB hOLLAh!!! this hakA RULES ALL u fuKKn polIticaL panZies!!!

  • Well maybe you can get your boyz to do something original next season. Even a Samoan dance would be more authentic than THIS!

  • wat r u talkn about 1nph3kt its not a song its a challenge laid down 2 the opposition & yes it is the same as the NZ all Blacks KAPA O PANGO, same words & moves the only difference i saw in that was that they did it faster, shows how much u know

  • Eww...what a rip-off!

  • Can't everyone just get along. the haka is great no matter who does it. everybody relax.

  • 1nph3kt YOU REALLY ARE LIKE THOSE WHO SHOW NO RESPECT - YOU ARE IGNORANT LIKE THESE IDIOTS DOING THIS SO CALLED HAKA WHAT A CHEEK! MY TUPUNA WOULD HAVE CUT THEIR HEADS OFF AND PUT THEM IN THE HANGI FOR DOING THIS. YEAH DATS RITE - WE INVENTED THE SACRED HAKA BOY MAORI AND DONT FORGET IT COPY CATS!

  • Just to further illustrate that they RIPPED OFF this haka without any regard to the composer or the meaning, they are yelling "Kapa O Pango", which means Team in Black and they are wearing... WHITE?!? DUH!!!!

  • 1nph3kt...get your facts right...no1's saying the all blacks invented the haka, but this haka was written for the all blacks! and then some hawwaian team comes along and rips off the haka written for them...what the hell is that...i reckon they use there own culture, not a maori one

  • Of course the All Blacks didn't invent the haka - they've only been doing it for ONE HUNDRED years... and my ancestors (who did invent it although not this particular one) have been doing it for ONE THOUSAND years... 1nph3kt, I suggest you do some research before you show your ignorance AGAIN!

And my point was, where is their pride to just RIP OFF someone else's cultural ritual? Why can't they use a Hawaiian chant since they are the University of HAWAI'I?

  • And my point was, where is their pride to just RIP OFF someone else's cultural ritual? Why can't they use a Hawaiian chant since they are the University of HAWAI'I?

Err cuz Hawaii is not made up of just HAWAIIANS!?! Dumb as a fucking haole , valea pukio..wise up

  • DUH dumb ass! They are called the University of HAWAI'I - they represent these islands and if they want to do a HAKA - then they should go to school in AOTEAROA or NIUE!! But sorry, only real men need apply... we don't play this crap game!!!

  • Aint no where does it say doing the Haka is exclusive to one ppl. IT IS part of the polynesian culture and baby thats us. You dont like it? THEN DONT WATCH OUR CRAP GAME

  • Haha... I don't!

FYI, the All Blacks (y'know, the team this haka was written for) aren't all Maori and some aren't even Polynesian - but when they pull on that black jersey, they represent Aotearoa and that is why they haka.

The UH guys learned it off the internet - they don't know what they are doing and it looks TERRIBLE! Like I said, NO MANA!!

  • hey kiwidiva how about shut the fuck up, dont even know what youre talking about. have you seen the all blacks haka? totally different words and different moves. unless you're trying to say the all blacks invented the haka and if you believe that then please pull your head out off your ass hole you fucking idiot. go watch golf you fucking retard.

  • And just to further illustrate that they don't know what they hell they are doing and have just ripped off this haka without any regard to the meaning of it, they're yelling "Kapa O Pango", which means Team in Black and they're wearing... WHITE? DUH!!!!

  • kiwidiva what the hell are you talking about? have you even seen the all blacks haka. i suggest you shut your fkn face stupid idiot. the song is totally different. the moves are totally different. unless you're trying to say the all blacks invented the haka which you're wrong so go stick your head back up your ass.

  • FYI (that's for your information...) this haka was written by Derek Lardelli especailly for the ALL BLACKS - the only TEAM IN BLACK (what the words Kapa O Pango mean) that anyone in Aotearoa cares about.

I think you're talking about the Ka Mate haka that the ABs did for 100 years but because of the controversy about that one, they had this one written and started performing it last year.

  • Ripping off the All Blacks haka shows NO PRIDE!

  • GO WARRIORS!!!
