I want to make a city in which there is extreme division and devide between people, with economic, crime and standard of living problems on one side, and an upper-class elite on the other, with the two clashing from time to time, but maybe seperated by walls and barriers.

@ShitMovies2000 City Life has that... 6 cultural differences, and upper class and lower class. Your job is to make sure the city grows and all that, but also at the same time, make sure people get along well. It will not be separated by a wall or anything though

Wish they came up with a freer system, where, yes, you could do more what you wanted, not just what the game made you do.

However, some people criticize it for its lack of realism compared to the Simcity series, I personally see no major fault in it. They both have their pros and cons, but if your computer specs can run this smoothly, buy this over simcity....it's an obvious superior if you ask me. Especially if you can get it on sale..

Simcity4 was so much more fun than this...sure this has glitzy graphics, but it's just missing the fun factor...It's always quite uneventful in the city and you can't even throw in a natural disaster or alien invasion to spice things up...seriously not worth the time and money IMO...I hope someday soon they do come out with something similar to the level of fun that SC4 was, hopefully before I get to old to be playing computer games...

Just purchased this game on sale from steam for USD$10, I love these kinds of games. From what I can tell in this gameplay it will be very good. Im sure I will be playing this game alot in the future.
I love games that have you build things, but for some reason this game doesn't capture my interest. After watching 2 videos of gameplay I got bored with it already. It feels like it's missing something to me.
Probably interaction. There seems to be nobody to interact with besides the map. You see citizens playing around for a few seconds and then disappear. I think I prefer to see more of how my decisions are affecting the local populace. Here it just seems to be statistics that change.

I got bored of Cities XL 2011 after the first day I played it, with its to many annoying objectives and you can't choose what buildings/houses you want because the game randomly chooses the bulidings and houses for you. : (
Only questions I have for this game, before I decide to ever get it, is A: System resource hog? I mean worse than SimCity4 running in HD on a large map with 10m population and high traffic? B: can it do more than 10 lane highways? C: whats its limitations and E: Is the roads curvier than what I have been seeing? And can you custom build like you can in SC4 Rush Hour, (in example, can this game do it all better?
@fcsg1234 I love the 3D, it's easier and more of an economic scale than a micromanagement (Like Kohan and Warcraft 3 RTS wise in difference of style). I love to move the camera around my city like I am driving through it. I love the fact it has awesome terrain, buildings, and even different environments. My issue is that it isn't too specific on issues and the citizens can be sons of bitches sometimes. I say get it discounted. It is fun
@fcsg1234 Make sure you have a damn good PC too. I have a 5870 2GB and 6 gigs of RAM and the game is still a bit chug. There is a lot to render, but seeing things totally up close is worth it
@fcsg1234 The game itself is very very good actually , but you need to like games like that , cuz if you dont you just wont play it.But be sure to have a stong CPU , cuz else after you've built a big part of the map you aree going to have LAG problems.

@fcsg1234 I love the 3D, it's easier and more of an economic scale than a micromanagement (Like Kohan and Warcraft 3 RTS wise in difference of style). I love to move the camera around my city like I am driving through it. I love the fact it has awesome terrain, buildings, and even different environments. My issue is that it isn't too specific on issues and the citizens can be sons of bitches sometimes. I say get it discounted. It is fun

@fcsg1234 Make sure you have a damn good PC too. I have a 5870 2GB and 6 gigs of RAM and the game is still a bit chug. There is a lot to render, but seeing things totally up close is worth it

@fcsg1234 The game itself is very very good actually , but you need to like games like that , cuz if you dont you just wont play it.But be sure to have a stong CPU , cuz else after you've built a big part of the map you aree going to have LAG problems.
