omg does no one use the shield as often as i do?!? I use it all the time and got like 100s of kills just with it itself. I mean its good for clearing out rooms and making a huge distraction. One of the biggest annoyances for the enemy team is a dude with the riot shield. Makes everyone shoot at him no matter who else is there with him.

@MangoPhett well thats why you use a blast shield you can live with it on. and using a throwing knife counters the nube tube. For the RPG, just live with it everyone gets hit by those.

I saw this set up and the riot guy practically looked like a Roman :) If we're talking about Modern Warfare the Riot guy should have something that kills right? Maybe a baton, big knife, machete, or a sword. I watched a WW1 and WW2 video and some military groups were still using swords alongside rifles and bayonets. Think on that for a minute.

how to use a riot shield effectively:

1:find a camper

2:point your shield at him, and slightly up.

3:sit in front of him for the rest of the game, or until he dies.

4: laugh as he struggles.
