Even if not trained- which I doubt, this dog really isn't that clever- notice how it goes the long way around the side of the pool to get to the mattress or float instead of the short way which is about a third of the distance. Also notice how there's a tool of some sort sticking up out of the water next to the dog, which could've been used to get the ball more easily which, although probably too heavy, isn't even investigated. We obviously have really low standards of intelligence for animals.
