Been thinking about the WII U for ages now and my initial excitement really has faded, I really think they may be making some pretty big and unnecessary mistakes. They were already onto something great with the wii so great in fact that Sony and Microsoft followed suit. In terms of pure sales they probably won the console war this time around but much was lost on actual gamers. I think this was due to the poor techs which aged fast. All they need to do is up the specs, the touch pad is risky.

Imagine playing Madden and using the touch screen on your uPad and pick plays without showing your plays to your opponent on the regular screen.  Just think about it.
