Fremont street was THE place to be this past new years eve.

I couldn't even see the fireworks because of all the people and tall buildings. The strip was not as fun for new years as I thought it would be

Came from Australia to see New Years Eve on the strip, battled crowds, got pushed & crushed but thought it would all be worth it when the fireworks went off. Situated right under the Paris/Bally's screen.. couldnt see a bloody thing. The best we managed was a whiff of gunpowder and the odd crackle in the distance. What a major disappointment, Vegas it was nothing short of a disaster. There should have been info where the best vantage points would be. On the worlds stage u score zilch!

we stopped on I-215 and just saw the fireworks with the whole strip view

I know I was really let down....we were on the main drag by the Bellagio. It was really sad....many people around me even went boooo and bad mouthed it.

I was at the bellagio too, i could not belive my eyes, nothing, bellagio did not even turn on the waters???? just a cupple of ducks swimming arround.... dissapointed beyond words......
