I literally ran into Ian Anderson when I was pregnant with my daughter in San Antoni.I ran into a hotel to use the facilites and I ran right smack into him.Nicest man one could meet.He asked if I was ok and was concerned about my condition.
Every thing I see of the interview videos and performance videos, you just can tell he is a gentle & humble man
with a great sense of the tongue in cheek. Above all he is one gifted musician.
But it's often the most talented people that are the least egotistical. I cite Tony Levin, Rick Wakeman, and Christian guitar virtuoso, Phil Keaggy, as examples.
Wow--ian really HATES this song..this is f..cking rare because every other version he does is jus ta medley..and enver the whole song....look all over you tube...theres no other complete version......
love this song and locomotive breath but his voice is gone, sad cause he sounds so great in the original versions.

@DavelovesRealMusic
Okay, so they're syncs. But Ian still has his voice in those performances, although you can hear it start to strain.
KingHellstrings 1 year ago
@KingHellstrings They are definitely not syncs, I guarantee it, saw em live, and they were fantasicaly REAL
