The Lark came out in 1959. It was not created in agreement by Mercedes. Studebaker was the distributer for Mecedes in the U,S, If wikipedia says that, they are wrong. These are cool cars, I learn to drive in a 63 Lark. The right had drivers were either cars for overseas, or sold as rural route drivers for delivering the mail. There is one close to me that I may buy. Thanks for posting the video, it's nice.
"This 1962 model was created in agreement with Daimler-Benz to create the "Mercedes-Benz" like grille! Enjoy!" That statement is completely false! Although the grille is similar to a Mercedes grille, so where the grilles of some other cars from the late 50's to early 60's just take a look at a 61-62 model Plymouth Valiant for example. With that said, the larks are very nice cars.
@irishnra -- wikipedia disagrees with your "That statement is completely false!" which is where I took my statement from, originally. Thanks for watching!
@DumDumShow hey Mike! Sorry we've not been around lately-- family stuff and all, 'you know'. But, hopefully we're back (I felt like I'd been set free from a third-world country yesterday afternoon, for sure) now and able to get into the swing of things again. Thanks for watching!
