Charlie is honestly the most amazing man I have ever seen. I cry every time he and Claire are together because they are just so perfect together. What is so painful is that when Charlie dies, he gives Desmond a letter to give to Claire about how much he loves her and Desmond never ends up giving it to her

I was 12 when it started airing.. I've got all the seasons on DVD, although - I did not watch season 5 and 6 when it was on TV... and well, yeah.. they're not as half as good as the first 4... I hate that they killed ALL of my fave characters... Boone and Charlie to mention some of them... but I still love season 1-4 so much it aches in my body... I haven't seen the episodes for a looong time, but I'm waiting for the right moment to have an epic marathon!

Am i the only one who literally loves this show...

I am now watching a third time and it is still so amazing.

Every time you re watch it you see forshadowing and little hints to things like the episode white rabbit it zooms in on john locke and makes the blacksmoke noise.

Also i think the music they use is so perfect and beautiful. Oh my god i just cant even explain how amazinggggg lost is....

Charlie was always my favorite on the show. It's so weird how attached we can get to fictional characters, and how we feel true heartache when they die -- a sign of excellent writing and acting. LOST was such a ridiculously good show...

@RavingPirates I am always amazed at how I can get attached to any fictional character. I know what they are going through isn't real. That they are the work of some guys imagination. I think being able to truly care about the characters in a work of fiction is key to truly enjoying it. Because you so easily forget that they are fictional and what they go through is real.

If you can do this, then you can enjoy the show/book/movie all the more.

The only real answer is that it wasn't Claire but Kate he saw with Aaron and was confused in his vision, or that something happened to interrupt his vision but idk wat. Maybe Desmond just lied to Charlie because he saw himself with Penny in the end.

I don't know whether it was the last episode of season 5 or the one before that or even before that one, but the scene where Juliet returns to the spot where the camp was, only to find out it reappeared, she found Charlie's DriveShaft ring which he left for Claire & Aaron, well... it really moved me.
