This song is just wonderful! But there's one thing that's suck: I live in France and this song was and is (I think, I don't watch much TV ), used for a very known phone operator, which means that every time my friends are listening to this song, they think in the first place: "Oh that's the Publicity music!" RAAAH I hate that! A good song like that was ruined by this bloody TV!><

Actually, it was not her decision to leave the show. It is Doctor Who tradition to replace the assistant every one or two seasons. You can see this by how the original episodes were. This song was also in the movie, "Martian Child" btw.

1) At about 0:47 when the Doctor & Rose, standing at the door, appear to sing along with the 'He-e-ey' refrain.

2) At 1:47 when a glum-looking Rose cheers up upon seeing the Doctor, and we hear the line 'welcome to the human race'.
