I think the reason people are saying this is "fake" is because the sound recording isn't the same as what's actually being played on the guitar in the video. The most obvious part being at 0:07 since you can hear a slide after the final note, but on the video your hand stays in the same place. I don't doubt at all that the sound really is you playing, but because of the disparity with the video I don't find it surprising some people think it's faked.

@NAAMxLOOS - Of course there are guitarists that rely on tabs, and pianists that play songs without sheet music, but overall I think these people are the exeption rather than the rule. It always amazes me that pianists simply have to remember notes and guitarists have to remember much more such as slides, hammer ons and pull offs and yet its pianists that need sheet music. Any self respecting guitarist should try to play with the tab as a mere guide, improvising and making the song their own.
