@Aq7x8912 The only mistake I ever made was when I tried to cook wholemeal and normal pasta at the same time. Crunchy AND soggy :3 Also what the hell is that orange sludge of an excuse for macaroni&cheese cheese oh god.
Notice the cooking times? It takes longer to cook pasta in the Fasta Pasta then it takes the conventional method. Seriously. If you cover a pan of water, it doesn't take that long for the water to come to a boil. I have it all worked out perfectly so that spaghetti and meatballs with garlic toast all comes together perfectly....And I've never had pasta turn out badly, as depicted in this commercial. LOL
Wait a minute... What utter bullshit about the 'secret' that circulates the water preventing sticking.
When you boil water in a pan, the water circulates due to convection action (the hot water rises and the cold water falls in a circular motion). So when you place your pasta in the water, it is constantly moving anyway! Pasta only sticks to the pan if you forget to drain it out and let it cool (it dehydrates due to evaporation)
Why do infomercials treat us like mind-numbing idiots?!
@Diamondblade2008 its so funny that you have 33 people that have "thumbs up" you probably because they didnt understand what you typed BUT it sounds right lol .... The fact is when you boil pasta it WILL stick together if you dont stir constantly.....in the begining. So I wonder what type of non stick pasta you cook with?
@atltallone907 The point I was trying to make is that when you boil water, the action of the water circulating will prevent the pasta sticking together. It only sticks together if you let any stray pieces of pasta dry out and dehydrate in the pan. If that does happen its not rocket science to add a little hot water to soften the pasta and remove it. Thats what infomercials are all about; solutions looking for problems that never existed in the first place.
@Diamondblade2008 - The thing really works!!! Maybe because the horizontal pasta gets symmetrical bubbling. Anyway... they just don't stick or clump. Not starchy either. Some of the best pasta I've had and from a glorified Tupperware looking container I almost threw away. Elbows were awesome too. Rice is heard to be better that the electric rice-cookers. We will see!!!!
No mean to offend, but these adverts make Americans look like idiots. I could cook a lasagne to 'perfection' when I was 10, without any fancy gadgets...
