How do you make that type of sound? For example in the first note. I play tenor saxophone at my highschool and I am in Jazz Band. I am wondering how you make that type of sound, also how to play the solo as well.

sounds like it's a hard sound to create. I play tenor too but compared to that I'm just a beginner.

you just have to like humm into the sax while your playing its hard at the start but once you get it, it sounds great

either that or buzz like a trumpet out of the side of your mouth, that way is easier but it doesnt sound as good

instead of blowing, just scream into the sax. At first it will make you cough, so you should tense ur abs. But after you get used to it, it will stop making you cough, it wont even hurt a little, and you wont have to tense your abs
