  • halo infinity! ill umi naughty will get its next fluff from textspeaking jkv geneis in reverse.? halo jen

  • I'm not sure it's fair to say that the Christians aren't saying "boo." The current and previous two popes have all issued statements condemning the idea of literal six-day creation - though Benedict is a bit stronger on the "slow nonrandom design" side of things (as they all were to an extent, of course, or they wouldn't be theists).

But I'm wondering now if it would be a good idea to do this to discredit creationists... Hubbard worked miracles in discrediting psychiatric skeptics...

  • Some Christian do speak out against creationist liars - ken miller of the kitzmiller vs Dover trial. Sadly, the loudest creationists have money and power to be loud, Christians who would speak out have no platform to do so that compares with the likes of the discovery institute and way of the master. Love your videos though. Have really helped me. Take care

  • Superb.....

  • Absolutely immaculately thought out video. Truly superb.

  • Really agreed with your statement about Christians idly standing by and letting their religion get destroyed from within.

    "Oh, it's okay, he's a Christian."

Can't tell you how many times I heard that, as a Christian, about Jerry Falwell and James Dobson and just wanted to puke. By the time I actually met gay people my reaction was "why am I not surprised that many of them are better people than most of the churchgoers I know? And why was I lied to?"

  • as I suppose, this Polish is "Jestem skaczącym mężczyzną ze stopą" = "I'm jumping man with a foot":) So I'm polish, but not have not f... idea wha't thats suppose to mean:D

  • Fantastic....and subscribed

  • co-moron, hahaha!

  • I think it is interesting that many of the much older traditions/ religions then the abrahamic ones are a load more accepting of the changes in the natural world, i.e. evolution. Maybe it's because they see humans as a part of it and not chosen by an ego centric deity to rule above everything else.

  • 3:58 BEST PART!!!! HAHAHAHA

  • I'd like to add, that even if, they managed to disprove evolution, how ever remote a change, it *STILL* wouldn't prove that creationism is correct. They put all this effort into disproving something, and no effort (or very little) into proving their own claims. Yoda said it, "That's why you fail."

  • Nice one, pal!

  • Yestem is "I Am" in Polish but I couldn't catch the rest because of your French accent LOL. Incidentally Phil, you don't half look like Gaelan from Planet Of The Apes of this video!!!

  • @NoFaithNoPain I take that as compliment. :) Galen from the original movie series was one of my all time heroes/influences as I was growing up. "Ape shall not kill ape".

  • @philhellenes It was a compliment. More dubiously however, I believe I am not the only one that fancied Helena Bonham Carter as the chimpanzee in the 2001 remake ... erm........

  • @NoFaithNoPain I absolve you of any guilt. It WAS a "disturbing" performance. :)

  • Release the crack-in!!!!

  • Yeah, actually they have done almost exactly that. A while back there was a human hand print fossil "found" by creationists in cretaceous rock. The idiots at the Creation Evidence Museum allowed some legitimate scientists close enough to inspect it and they found that the smaller fossils and rocks in the fingertips were carved out instead of being pushed aside. These shits are not in any way above or to smart to try to pull the kind of fraud in the video.

  • lol I love that last quip xD

  • classic , just classic. dude your videos are fuckin' awesome. keep up the good work.

  • funny idea...but it's already been done. Kent Hovind constantly references a petrified tree fossil growing thru multiple layers of sediment all dated from different geological periods.

  • I hope for a time when religion will die, i want it in my lifetime if possible

  • @deathman1021 There will always be some set of false beliefs floating around, religious or otherwise. I don't mind religion at all, as long as they don't try to govern us with it.

  • @CribNotes religion demands that religion controls, it is dangerous as well as idiotic and needs to be stoped.

"I am as convinced that religions are harmful as i am that they are untrue" -Bertrand Russel

  • Creationists have already tried something similar to this in a river in Texas. They would alter and carve human tracks into sandstone that had dinosaur tracks. Look up Ian Juby defending one of these tracks on his channel (wazooloo). It is so obviously a fake, yet there is a creationists defending it and basically doing what you said they would not do. So there you have it, there is no lie to big for creationists.

  • Oh yes, Creationists certainly know that science works. Fortunately for them, truth has never been what they're interested in anyway. It's all about the agenda of pushing their faith, and they will stoop to any level to accomplish it, but they're at least bright enough to know what won't work, so they sleaze and cheat around what they think they can get away with.

  • 5:18 im trying to understand what he said (since i speak polish :p)

i can understand first word without problem the rest of the sentece its kinda blury and cant fiquere it out its only guess . u could write it and i could give it a shot :p

fisrt word is def "i am" :p

  • Theres more cracks in creationist science then there is in a two thousand year woman.

  • jesus is gona torcher all you atheest. It is in the BIBLE! How can you peeple bee so dang stuped? You all no that he lives and that is why you are wasteng your time trying to prove he does not egzist. be saved

  • @fermos11111 You have the nerve to call us stupid, and yet you can't even spell "atheist" or any other basic english word for that matter.... My 9 year old sister writes more eloquently than you do.

  • Make fun of Christians, fucker, it's your turn. We will have the last laugh when the Son of God, Jesus Christ, returns in all His Glory and the Saints of God with Him, ahh that's me, and We are going to kick all you fucking Satanist, Atheist, Pagan, God Hating Bastard's asses all the way to Hell! So get ready all you condescending, arrogant, pathetic wastes of DNA. The Creator's coming and man is He pissed!

  • @TerryDavid57 Yeah the muslims and the jews have their revelation too, so if you ever ate pork in your life, I would presume your pretty much going to hell too, well with us that is , considering the revelation of God is true that is, but we'll see hmm? Oh, and any other kind of religion have their own revelation hmmm? What are the odds of that happening, considering your mind would be much significant than the others, you would consider its happening would be highly improbable.

  • @TerryDavid57 Awwwww .........ain't that Sweet. A foul mouth Christian.

  • @TerryDavid57 Hate and bigotry is not a virtue, therefore, YOU are going to Hell :)

  • @TerryDavid57

"So get ready all you condescending, arrogant, pathetic wastes of DNA"

    How Christian of you.

  • @TerryDavid57 We're not making fun of ALL XTians. Just the arrogant Creationist protheocracy Dommietards masquerading as Christians. FYI, try imposing theocracy in the USA, especially in the "blue states" . You will NOT receive the BLIND Adoration and absolute obediance you fundies crave/demand, but something else that is exactly the opposite......wannabe theocrats are NOT welcome in states where REASON rules...

  • @TerryDavid57 according to Jesus then, you're the one going to hell

  • @TerryDavid57 You believe in DNA?

  • Religious people overate their own importance. If they think God created the whole universe just for us little monkeys.

  • draging christianity through steaming shit! lol

  • i think i have met you before...

  • great video mate!!!!

  • Actually on second thought given the intellec of the people who despite of proof insists on saying that the Earth is 6,000 years old should tell you that it isn't that they KNOW a crack exist, it is that that idea never came to their mind.

  • This video is like a dream (the effect, not the actual topic it covers).

  • @TwistedS0uL

Yeah, I thought it was pretty cool-looking too. Phil, will you tell us what that visual effect is called? It's neat.

  • @Trucidofy you have nothing to contribute to society, when someone calls you out all you say is ''don't use those safe words on me''. You have nothing to back up your paranoid claims and you just ramble on. Good bye, have a nice life and don't bother replying cause I'm done.

  • @Trucidofy jew hater= antisemite its that easy. its not a safe word its just a fact. you don't want to be called that then stop your paranoid rants. Its to be expected for someone who is subscribed to originalsavagechick.

  • Kirk Ca--moron! F**king brilliant! :-D

  • @Trucidofy so what do you call somone who hates an entire group of ppl based on there ethnicity? someone who hates Jews because there Jews is an antisemite. its weird that bigots don't seem to like being called bigots, unless your strictly ant-Zionist and not necessarily anti Jew.

  • @Trucidofy you say you don't discriminate based on race yet your a blatant anti Semite. I'd rather have a creations than a paranoid schizophrenic like you. Blaming all Jews for what some of them did in the past, no different than the catholic church's stance that all Jews are to blame for the death of Christ. At least your not as stupid as to deny the holocaust.

  • I can reveal to you what that wise man said to you in Polish:

"I don't speak English, so I've got no fucking idea what you mean."

  • Nice Polish, you just said "I'm a jumping man with the foot". At least it sounded like that. And indeed it did make more sense than the creationists ;)

  • Hey Phil, don't use "a rat's brain" as a slurr. I've co-abited with rats for over seven years now (I would not say I've owned them as pets, it does not work like that with rats) and the little buggers are smarter than it is comfortable sometimes... ;-)

Other than that: Excellent video once again.

  • even if you debunked everything that science saids, that wouldn't prove god. same with prophecy only proves some one wrote something that came to be or force to be.

  • could anybody translate the meaning of life for me? :P

  • @b03y 42

  • @MrHobiecat agreed, 42.

  • Honestly I don't see why people would compare evolution and creationism in the first place. Both deal with two very different topics, one being diversity and the other being the origin of life.

Or it may be because it shows that we evolved from lesser species in the great apes group. Maybe its because it conflicts from what is being taught in church.

I would ask for someone to enlighten me as to why these two are ongoing debates since they have nothing in common to cause so much of a fuss about

  • @ryoh01 Its the fact that a lot of creationists believe that all life was made as it appears today while evolution says that we all evolved into what we are now. Evolution stands in opposition to the creation story and by doing so threatens the validity of the entire book in their minds.

  • "Christians ALL do this, they ALL do that" That's a hasty generalization which is a fallacy. Quit acting like you know what every single Christian wants to do.

  • actually, if you look at evolution, a whole lot of it doesn't even make sense

  • @tommoore2012 ... to you

  • @timmysgonnagetcha nooooo, if you look at evolution and how it works, a whole bunch of it doesn't make sense at all

  • @tommoore2012

Which version of evolution are you referring too? The reason for asking is because the version I and others use, namely the one that is back by scientists in fields relevant to the subject, makes perfect sense to the rest of us.

Before you ask, I'm not setting you up for later trolling in any way if it makes you uncomfortable to answer, but I would like to know which parts do not make sense to you.

Maybe just might be a misunderstanding perhaps?

  • I have looked at it, it makes perfect sense to me. If you care to give some examples of what it is you dont understand, perhaps this online community would care to clarify for you. Not having digs mate, but unless you give examples your claims come under scrutiny.

  • I found a fossilised rabbit in the pre-cambrian just recently. Or was it just a dead rabbit on the road into Cumbria?

I might submit my findings to Cameron and Comfort, see where they run with it.

  • Thank you for making this video.

  • is that john mccain?

  • my favorite is the banana argument :)

  • I Love the way you pronounce Kirk Ca-Moron. HAHAHAH.

  • you are amazing

  • "You think they are your ally, but they are your enemy."

    Word to Big Bird.

  • i just favourited the shit out of this

  • @SezSays Me too! Just brilliant video, wonderful job!

  • @SezSays Me too! Just a brilliant video, wonderful job!

  • Am I the only one hearing a bit too much passion for something that isn't supposed to be persuasive. Some good points here, some bad ones. Like usual with your videos. I miss the old days when people actually had to read to learn, rather than psuedo-learning through Youtube propaganda. The creationists you describe aren't worth your time, not sure why you are still encouraging that kind of thought by giving it 5:00 on Youtube...

  • I love creationist women. They are soooooo easy. I have trouble getting laid (obviously! I'm on youtube!). But, creationist women are generally dumb, which makes them the perfect prey. I tell them I talk to god, and they want to know what he says. I make some "feel good" shit up, like "do good deeds". After a few church meetings together...its back to my place for some hypocritical yum yum action.

  • @freefreeist Wow, I have never felt bad for someone over the internet before :-/

  • @freefreeist you know what? you could probably start a cult like that if you play your cards right...

  • @freefreeist Best post on youtube. Ever.

  • @freefreeist I hope you wear protection, the planet doesn't want more of 'them' breeding.

  • @TheChristChris Protection is for pussys. Literally.

  • My friend, you made a critical lack of distinction in your video.

A "creationist" has two distinct and entirely opposite meanings:

    - young-earth creationist: what you're talking about

    - old-earth creationist: I believe in God, but of course evolution happened

  • @DeathToTheseWalls Actually, he covered that in the very beginning, when he mentioned if life (and by implication, the earth) were created by god or aliens, that still wouldn't change the evidence for evolution.

  • @zimzob And how is that comparable to assuming all creationists are young-earth creationists?

  • Lol you're the man!!

  • Comment removed

  • HA i like this guy.

  • Maybe there is a god,and he put creatonists on earth to show us religion is bullshit, nah kidding.

  • Comment removed

  • I'm the jumping man with the foot, hmm this changes everything!

    To Do:

[X] Find the meaning of life

[ ] Find out where the left socks end up

    [ ] Cure Cancer

  • The reason creationists havent done that yet? because nobody told them it was a good idea... I guarantee if ray comfort watches this, that will be the next thing they plot. the scheming deceitful bastards will stop at nothing.

  • Subconscious. It's perfectly possible to perpetrate a lie, a fantasy, a construction of the greatest conceit; Without being consciously aware at all. And we're all doing it to some extent. You're doing it Phil, with your antireligious crusade.

We believe in things because we have conditioned ourselves to do so. Truths that we hold dear to our heart and mind, truths that are important to the very fabric of our ego. It doesn't really matter if this truth is true at all in this respect.

  • @Xandros999 - "Subconscious. It's perfectly possible to perpetrate a lie, a fantasy, a construction of the greatest conceit; Without being consciously aware at all"

At what stage of the video did you start watching? I could have sworn Phil opened by pointing out that if these people weren't consciously aware of the falsity of their claims they'd have no hesitation in supporting them in court. Are you aware of the events he's referring to here? I'm sure you are.

  • your face is fuzzy :3

i'm a theo-evolutionist and always try and show my christian friends the evidence for evolution.

  • @yuriatayde I've been debating religious people for over 30 years and let me tell you, they are dumb, very dumb and a lot dumber than you could probably imagine...

  • Your videos come up against may of these problems from a very simple, common sense approach. Very refreshing and it is these simple, basic arguments that will bust religion, superstition etc once the critical mass of people hear and understand the real truth, the truth unfolding all around us as the veil of BS is torn down by straightforward reasoning.

Who knows, maybe we'll even see an end to such travesties as religious schools in our lifetime.

  • Haha, Kirt Ka-moron Well said Phill

  • @yuriatayde Yeah I get it that's the position of most of the 'flock', I was speaking more about the puppeteers than the puppets/organ grinders rather than the monkeys?

Was wondering how many of those in charge actually believe the nonsense they're spewing!?

  • i have to say that Christians like Kenith Miller and Francis Collins are exposing them.Despite their own brand of fuzzy thinking

  • I find that understanding evolutionary theory is around a hundred times easier than the mind of a creationist.

  • Great vid, and you made a fantastic point that's not highlighted enough. The people in charge of creationist/intelligent design propaganda are wilfully and unashamedly lying to gullible people in order to manipulate them.

No-one of even basic intelligence and an even slightly enquiring mind would genuinely fail to recognise the vastly overwhelming evidence in favour of evolution and the absolute lack of ANY evidence to the contrary.

Unless it's some form of denial or wilful ignorance...

  • Whoohoo for glowy blue person!

  • I've noticed one thing in philhellenes' videos that i can't find on creationist videos - aside from the obvious - common sense, what I'm talking about is confidence. He's so confident about his own ideals and is so crystal clear about his belief that he is naturally convincing. You can never hear that on a creationist video. Most of them sound either downright arrogant, or they don't know what they're talking about.

  • LOL, good1.

    peace, lardo.

  • You look really.... FUZZY... In this video.

  • We're born - we live - we die.

The meaning of life is what you do with the transition, what you do in life, what you bring to society, to those close to you, to those not close to you. Experience and grow as a person, and die to your fullest, with no regrets, having become the best you you can be. That's what I feel the meaning of life is.

  • William Lane Craig

  • @JesusxXxLovesxXxYou sucks donkey balls. :)

  • The Ben Stein Documentary No Intelligence allowed addressses the issue of how life began on earth, "4 trillion to one that it happened naturally", and I've personally never heard of an adequate explanation of what existed prior to the Big Bang. I would argue that I was, "created" by my parents before saying I "evolved" from them. I find your observation lacks objectivity.

  • @shizzleman8 You're using selective learning, learning only what you want, that is one documentary vs 100s of others and thousands of other scientists.

  • @DvineGaming Selective learning? My 3rd channel is going to be Selective Eating to promote weight loss and save lives, you see most people select to eat shit their whole lives, talk about things they're never going to accomplish, people they're never going to meet, and places they're never going to visit and degrees they're never going to hold. This is Selective Delusion, my point young friend is "Do it THEN tell me about it!". My congratulations is sarcastic, obviously lost on the uneducated.

  • @shizzleman8 Sorry, but the odds of life happening on this planet from the very moment the first self-replicating molecules formed was and always has been 1:1.

As for what happened before the Big Bang? You're right, we don't know what happened because it happened OUTSIDE OF OUR UNIVERSE and we are thus unable to observe any effects on our universe that event had other than the existence of the universe. What rational people don't do is look at that and say "God dun it!".

  • @flapjackboy @flapjackboy Ker Than from How life on Earth began Live Science "But despite knowing approximately when life first appeared on Earth, scientists are still far from answering how it appeared."

"The appearance of such a molecule, given the way chemistry functions, is incredibly improbable. It would be a once-in-a-universe long shot," said Robert Shapiro, a chemist at New York University. "To adopt this [view], you have to believe we were incredibly lucky."

  • @BeTheFastestLoser OK, that's a lovely bit of quote mining there. Shapiro is actually totally in support of abiogenesis, he just disagrees on the exact mechanism which kickstarted the process. Specifically, Shapiro does not share the "RNA first" hypothesis that is our current working model for abiogenesis.

  • I'm 16 and I consider myself a scientist, not one with a diploma yet but I know I am smarter than a lot of these bigots and I am surely going to make a bigger difference than 10 millions men and women with their hands clasped in prayer.

  • @DvineGaming Science bless you my friend. It takes people like you to make a difference. Never back down from religious ignorant bullshit

  • @DvineGaming You got 2 more years of High School and then 4 years of college and then you'll have a Bachelors of Science, maybe after 20 or 30 more years of continuing education and practice you'll receive a little notoriety, that's all contingent on you unclasping your hands from your game controller, congratulations. Those who pray number 6,334,660,000, something you'll learn in college. Phil isn't a unilv. graduate nor is he making a difference, he's voicing an opinion, uneducated bias.

  • @shizzleman8 I'm in international Baccalaureate classes right now, I'm taking them at home so I can graduate early, and only for years of school? I'm either going into a career of biology with a PhD or a career of Quantum Physics.

  • @DvineGaming Ph.D

  • @shizzleman8 As for unclasping my hands, Video games are just a hobby, I enjoy them so I play I was doing some video editing and was thinking of posting them on my channel that I made so I called it this, and I am very aware of my spelling of 'Divine' it was intended.

  • well, they would carbon date the rabbit, and show it as a hoax

  • I find it interesting that when somebody dies, he just goes into another state of matter. You know, the matter in that body has been "dead" for 13.7 billion years.

    Very interesting.

  • @JackeShanTwo Actually it´s been recycled repeatedly for the last 4 billion years, the atoms in our body :).

Every human contains appx. 10 million atoms from Denghis Khan for example, and I suppose it´s equally likely that the atoms have been through another human or other animal quite a few times - pooped out, literally. It´s a funny though :)..

So it´s only 9 billion years - but I wouldnt call it dead. I´d call it not alive, because something that was never alive, cant be dead.

  • @Korkzor But the matter we have now comes from before the earth and our solar system formed. So if you trace it back long enough matter eventually goes into energy at the big bang, 13,7 billion years right? :P

  • @JackeShanTwo That sounds about right :)..

  • Great vid, awesome shots I can take at some of my especially christian friends.

  • Rabbits still lay eggs....they are chocolate.

  • One of my Facebook friends posted one of your videos. I subscribed within 60 seconds!

  • @Philhellenes The problem with faking it is that radiometric dating does not lie. A modern rabbit found in the Pre-Cambrian strata would carbon date to a period a lot more recent than any other real fossil located in the strata. Evolution, they can't fake a fake controversy, and they can't fake fake evidence either... The Creationists have few avenues to turn and all are dead ends.

  • @finitekosmos

I think that was his point. They don't try such absurd things because they *know* the science works.

  • @kroxile Indeed, but we can see that those kinds of claims are still being presented. Ultimately the issue is one of hearts and minds. Science is compelling because of the body of evidence that supports the theories it presents. Instead of attacking the evidence, or the theory, they are attempting to destroy the credibility of science in the public eye.

  • I've had creationists try to present "evidence" that was debunked ages ago, about the alleged human footprints beside dinosaur footprints. Turned out the little footprints were actually from another dinosaur but it still gets presented as "evidence."

Also I've seen them try to use the platypus to "debunk" evolution because it cannot be neatly classified on a zoological chart. Yet the platypus appears to be the sort of transitional species they are always demanding.

  • I was going to give you thumbs up. I changed my mind b/c of the last comments. I used to hang out at BeliefNet a lot years ago. Majority of the defenders of Evolution on the "Evolution verses Creationism" board were Christians. One of them was a friar. My college biochemistry professor went to a Baptist church but he also taught evolution. I talked to him about it one day; he said the congregation gave him beef about it all the time, but he tries anyway to pound logic into their minds.

  • Concise genius. I appreciate that. You nailed it square on.

  • What a sex-tastic accent.

  • Philhellenes, I debate that fossilized rabbits in the Precambrian would disprove evolution entirely. One fossilized rabbit wouldn't do it. You would have to see a pattern of them. When we get time travel, I can see creationists going back in time to falsify the fossil record...or maybe they'd be too stupid to operate the machinery as per usual.

  • @formless777 They did tried and left a rabbit corpse and along with the bodies of the two creationist who went there with no protective gear, seemingly unprepared for the toxic Precambrian atmosphere. early microbes simply feasted on their flesh and bone and gone in less than 2 minutes. Fortunately, I got my time machine back. since it was equip with a video cam and auto-return fail safe mechanism

  • I didn't think there was ANY lie too big for cretinists(my improved spelling for creationists). In my experience they will tell any lie they think might fool somebody. After all, most of them have been fooled by big and small lies all their lives. ;)

  • Not all christians agree with that bs

seriously these people need to get their info right

  • Brilliant observation, and great ending.

    Thanks

  • They won't plant a modern bunny fossil in pre-Cambrian strata because then they would have to admit that flood geology is B.S. but somehow maintain the lie that radiometric dating is false.

  • Fine clip. The early Xtian symbol of a fish serves as a useful acronym: Fear, Ignorance, Superstition, Hatred.

  • Jestem skaczącym mężczyzną ze stopą.

I'm jumping man (male) with a foot.

  • @krooshak - Were wiser words ever spoken? I think not. :)

  • @philhellenes

    Agreed.

Damn good video. Damn good point.

  • That didn't sound like polish at all! ;d

  • I loved your answer to the meaning of life! Of course, every thinking person knows that the answer to life, the universe and everything is 42.

  • Even better... have a believer with a martyr complex and who looks like Jeebus volunteer to be crucified and bury him in ... oh, wait. That would defeat their beliefs... never mind. Your idea is better. ; )

  • There are occasional Christian debunkers of creationism, like Ken Miller, who has even been involved in a major court case (Kitzmiller vs Dover). All the same, really not very many of them.

  • I am a jumping man with a foot - that's what the wise man said to you, but you probably know that already don't you. It still makes more sense that any creationist ever will.

  • ladicen atheists don't present evidence for evolution, scientists do. Creationists rely on outright demonstrable lies and propaganda, if you can't see the flaw in your statement then more fool you.

  • And how has the atheist argument evolved? You speak so arrogantly yet fail to realize your entire argument can be reversed and it still holds true. How many dishonest atheists are there around the world?

  • Not all Christians are just standing by. My favorite evolutionist on youtube is Don Exodus who happens to be a Christian as well.

  • You sure about that? I mean really, really sure?

  • @philhellenes

I'm not really sure what you mean by that question. I am not sure he's my favorite (its a tie between him and cdk007), and I'm not sure he's a Christian, but I know he says he is (and I have no reason to doubt his word).

I mean, even Francis Collins criticized Expelled, saying that evolution wasn't in doubt. Sure there aren't as many as there should be, but several Christians do speak out, and its great that they do because they are in a better position to do so.

  • @philhellenes Don Exodus is Christian?

    Well I'm a Martian! :))

  • @NilDesperandum1998

He was a Christian as of about a year ago when he made a video describing his reasons. Be warned, you might be let down by the unbelievable lapse in logic and reasoning he displayed in that video. Don't get me wrong, I love DE but his reasoning was indefensible. Basically, ghosts prove the afterlife and the empty tomb proves Jesus' divinity. It hurt to watch him say that stuff.

  • @philhellenes

Has DonExodus come to his senses and renounced his superstition? I found the video where he described his reason for being a christian to be nothing less than shocking. I really couldn't believe someone that smart could have this one area of such horrible reasoning. It really speaks to the power of childhood indoctrination.

  • @philhellenes He actually is, and so am I.

Abd believe it or not, I agree with your message in this video.

  • @philhellenes yeah im pretty sure hes not a christian anymore

  • @philhellenes Well he certainly was when he started making his videos on evolution. It's no longer the case, but Don Exodus was both a proud Christian and proud defender of Evolution when he started his channel, up until the horrors of creationist arguments made him step back and examine his beliefs, leading ultimately to the realization that he couldn't justify his beliefs any more than they could.

  • @Keeban3

DonExodus WAS a Christian. He said so in earlier videos. However, he has since termed himself an Agnostic - and now (check his "About me" on his channel) a Flying Spaghetti Monsterist.

LittleTruckingBozo is a Christian who -I may be mistaken- was a Creationist but was convinced by reason that Creationism is wrong.

  • @amoxtlacatl

Damn. Then it truly is a shame that more Christians don't speak out against their crazy brethren. They would have a better chance of changing their minds, and certainly creationists hurt the image of Christians more than they help it.

Maybe non-Fundamentalist Christians would have that chance of changing their recalcitrant brethren's minds.

Then again, Fundies think Satan has deceived anyone - non-Fundie Christians, believers in other religions, Atheists - who doesn't share their very, very narrow views - and we know they're not gonna "listen to Satan", right?

Still, some people who are sincere actually do change their mind. LittleTruckingBozo is one example.
