instead of a thruster on the bottom couldnt you use a forcer to make this into some sort of ufo/hover board?

@minipancho94 I haven't played in a while, but If i remember the forcer doesn't affect world objects (like the ground) and using a forcer would require a lot more math to try and find the necessary foorce to achieve the desired hieght.

Why would I need this? I mean there is a hoverball thingy and the "keep upright" function. just asking

@thepongofdeath The problem with the "Keep Upright" tool is that it doesn't work on entities. (Like a jeep, for instance). But you can weld this to a jeep, put some thrusters on the bottom, and there you have it. It's a hoverjeep. Also, It looks a lot better than the keep upright.

once im done wiring it it just hovers way up in the sky and i have the value set as 50

my thing just keeps dropping to the floor. it's stable, but it doesn't fly....just like yours at the end of the video. What's wrong?

never mind. I got the problem. The thrusters were just too weak. I've now enlarged your system to a PHX 4x4 and a 9x(4x4)-Plate system :-P

what did you wrong when the thruster didn't work at the end? (Didn't work at all, not that up/down-wiggle).

Because I have the same problem and I think I didn't get the answer.

At the end where it goes up and down so fast, you want to subtract the delta from the other subtract chip and not add. There you are adding extra force, subtracting the delta subtracts its velocity creating a more stable result

i understand understand what you did to make it hover with the thruster can you reply to this comment with the chips i need and were i need to wire them (it might not be working because im trying to use a ranger)

the ranger is basically the same so that shouldn't be a problem. just make sure you wire the correct delta chips to te correct sides. If it tilts one way and it is a negative value then wire the normal (not the negative chip chipped) chip to the thruster that is higher than the one on the other side of the plate. That way the higher plate is pulled down. and vise versa the other plate chould be pushed up. Hope that helps : )

you can also put them on top of it

then they go the oposit way of the once sitting under it.

ive followed this exactly, but as soon as it tilts slightly it just spazzes out, ive tried decreasing the power of teh thrusters, doesnt work? any help

Eh if want some help about the sideways chips, just put your working pat upright. Somehow it fixes it and everything is striaght

pritty good. i made it and it worked well apart from the going round in a circle as a run away. but im trying to fix i9t with a different expression. just a question in the video you have a little menu that comes up in the middle of the screen and you can change you tool without going in the menu 00:52. where you get this. i wana have it so much easier. lol thanks

tried but evrything seems to fail with my mike volume. (most of the time im wispering so noisy people don't barge into my room in the middle of the tut, would be funny though...)
