i hate to admit, without seeming pretentious, but i have not been very impressed with "new" music lately, especially since i enjoy listening to lots of things quite a bit! i know this isn't exactly brand new, but it's new to me. what surprised me about his sound is the timelessness and effortlessness; it's not trying too hard, no fakeness here. i've heard variations on this type of sound, but his is understated which i noticed straight away. plus, he is super cute and wears suits!
