Ohio State Marching Band Ramp Entrance 9/12/09

I must confess that I don't usually get excited about marching bands but this one just does something to me and now I'm addicted to TBDBITL and yes, I bleed Carolina Blue.

Seeing The OSU Maroching Band during a contest was one of the most intense experiences ever. After they performed, the field was imprinted with their footsteps. And I mean quite literally imprinted in the field!

OSU has a great marching band. USC and FAMU do not. Both of those bands are a sloppy mess. No attention to details whatsoever. With FAMU, the uniforms alone are a mess and a distraction. I am not an OSU fan, btw.  I have seen all three band sin person onmore than one occasion. FAMU is a minstrel show; USC is not far behind them. FAMU people please don't call me a racist because I am black too. I just recognize greatness when I see it, no matter the race.

You know, with all of the negative press Ohio State has been getting, between Tressell/Tattoogate, losing in the sweet 16, and the normal everyday haters with nothing better to do than rip on Ohio State, it's just nice to watch this band and forget your troubles. There is no scandal to this band. They are just simply the best! There is no debate. No matter how bad things get, no matter how many losses or what negative media we get...at least we have TBDBITL!!!!

There are usually tickets available outside the stadium on game day. Of course,

nonleague games are easier to get tickets to also. It is quite an experience to go to an OSU game and do the skull session first where the band does their whole game routine. That is awesome as well!

I was IN TBDBITL for two years and watching this just gave me chills and brought tears to my eyes. There's no other experience in the world like having been a part of this great organization. GO BUCKS! :)
