  • The premise that McCain's trips to Iraq provide insight unattainable w/out going is absurd. His time on the ground there is so encapsulated in armed troops, air cover, and body armor (which he removes long enough to create a misleading photo op), that he experiences nothing of the ambient conditions in Iraq. The only value is the propaganda value to the neocons. As for talking to Petraeus, he seems to be in Washington with some regularity, and I'm guessing he has a secure phone in Iraq.

    Obama 08

  • New Gallup poll says 67% of all Americans support direct negotians with our enemies, which means doddering McCain lost that round of debate with Obama too.

  • Brooks and Bush need to go to Iraq.

    And stay there.

    Both idiots.

  • This Fucking war of convenience is a blunder and they know it.

Americans are known not to pay attention but this issue is a no brainer. Obama will prevail because the whole War is a failure.

  • These right wing pundits are still trying to sell this occupation as a war , why? .Brooks once seemed logical now he,s another right wing killer.

  • Actually, most polls say that Americans are more interested in the economy than anything else. Remember "It's the economy, stupid?" We're back there.

  • Fuckin Mccain

how people can be so stupid?

  • Because for every speech Obama makes, there are a million rightwing talkers screaming "REVEREND WRIGHT, REVEREND WRIGHT, REVEREND WRIGHT!"

  • my hagee trumps your wright

  • Wendy62

    I love the Rev.Wright

  • Because half of his votes will be spiteful Hillary supporters.
