I kind of disagree with this list... I feel like it's just a list of pretty people, not people that could honestly portray the people in the book.

But to each his own.

I'm secretly hoping that no one makes a movie based on the Trilogy. They shouldn't ruin a good thing, and making movies of GOOD books generally turn out... badly.

No, I don't think that's possible. Taylor Lautner Is far to short for the role. Also, His last name seems very japanesesque So I'm guessing Derek is also at least half asian.

Actually derek is suppose to be really cute (if you recall the time at andrews house when Chloe saw his pictures) the picture is fine exept he needs longer hair (not to long), the color of his hair is black and he has green eyes (then again this can all be fixed ).

yea but in my eyes they look the part to me. Maybe they look a little bit older then they are supposed to but they were the closest that I could get to the characters the way that i see them. Yea I know that Simon has dark blonde hair. As i said in an other comment I didn't eliminate any actors just because of something as easily changed as hair color and in Derek's case adding pimples and greasy long hair. I know that the father is not really in the book but I wanted to add him thinking movie wise that they may want to add in when the boys father disappeared. Again in my title as well I state that this is just my opinion if you don't like it and feel that you can do better

FYI Simon has DARK BLONDE Hair. Not black. And Simon's and Derek's dad is not even in the book. He's mentioned but he doesn't appear in the book yet.

No need getting upset over actors that a fan choose when they aren't even choosen to be in a movie. Again these were he choices that I would have made because they fit the characters the way I SEE THEM and if you like them thats great and if not well then thats what is great about books we can all picture the people how WE want to! Brady is just a small character that is mentioned in the first book and we see as ghost in the beginning of the second book when Chloe tries to summon Liz. And Andrew is the man that was a friend of Simon and Derek's father who they run to in order to try and find some type of safety .

Well Selena is that way for a lot of people but me personally I love her! And I agree simon might be a little hotter but in my opinion anyways he was the best looking korean/chinese (im not exactly sure which he is sorry!) that i could find in the right age! yea derek was hard one for me to choose. In my eyes he's not actually hideous and I saw some pics of Drew wit longer hair and hey In the awakening Chloe says that Derek is actually kind of cute now that hes was kinda getting over the acne stage so I thought aaaa why not. I just don't see him as a jared as so many other people seem to see him but that may just be mee :D YEa the summoning and the awakening were amazing I couldn't put any of them down! lol

Yea but add sum zits n ur good. I mostly chose him because of all the comments that Chloe made about how his acne was clearing up and how he actually was pretty cute. And remember in hollywood the wouldn't really use a really ugly guy to portray a main character most of the time anyways! Thanks for the comment!
