I don't think that is a m3. Granted I don't know what they are saying; but at one point it had 318 in the subtitles. Plus the side molding and mirrors are wrong. Instrument cluster was wrong as well. M3's tack reads to 8,000rpm. Well at least in an s52(3.2) power m3 does.

Maybe they put the f20 in there cause that's what they had sitting in the shop. That f20 is going to make more power then the 318's 4 cyl. Sometimes people to motor swapped for the ease of tuning. There are a lot of people who swap v8's into e36 328's for the simple fact it's cheaper for them to get ahold of a motor like that and cheaper initially to g

The S2000 Engine is waaaaay better then the original BMW in this 318is....

F20C inline 4 cylinder DOHC-VTEC engine producing from 237 hp (177 kW) to 250 PS (184 kW), and from 153 lbf·ft (207 N·m) to 22.2 kg·m (218 N·m) of torque depending on the target market....and have a look at the RPM....

Please people! This is a good engine! It's faster than any engine offered in the BMW E36 lineup (aside from the S5x, but everyone puts S5x's in their cars, that's boring) The F20C is much lighter and paired with a S4.10 BMW diff, those revs go on forever! I think this is a pretty neat idea. The F20C is one of the few good honda engines and just look at that thing scream!

After researching I completely fail to see the point of this. The f20c outputs just under 250hp, and this one is probably built out, maybe race prepped, so call it 300hp just to be safe.

The stock inline 6 from a euro-spec BMW M3 of the same year is outputting 317hp stock, is easily capable of 400hp with bolt-on mods, can be bought for only a few thousand dollars, and easily mounts in the car as the chassis is built for it....

So, why spend tons of $ installing an underpowered f20c???
