Alot of people are saying how bad season 3 is compared to 1 & 2, but I saw it on E4 a few months back, and I'm watching it again on Channel 4, and I think it's even better looking. And BBC having Skins in America is so funnily weird - but obv there is no channel 4 in the US.

Why is it in channel 4 in the UK and BBC in the US

a) your tv sets are across continents.

b) bbc is a major company with lots of channels. Channel 4 being one of them.

c) bbc stands for British Broadcasting Company. British.

Channel 4 is nothing to do with the BBC. Channel4 is a public service channel like the BBC but completely separate. Channel 4 is funded by adverts while the BBC is funded my license fees.

The BBC does is not a company and the C does not stand for Company but corporation. BBC America is a separately funded company hence why it is ad supported. BBC america are purely licensing the show from channel 4 probably because it is British and the logical place to be in the US market.
