  • geweldig nummer.

  • Love the video too of all the stills of all those brilliant music legends Elvis Presley, John Lennon - well actually they have got practically all my heroes .......Not sure how they got a photo of my record collection though!....smiles.

  • The music sends out a special vibration, making this a classic rocking sensation. This is absolutely superb. One of the most beautiful masterpieces in music history.

  • A classic, what else can we say. It takes us back to the 50's and 60's. We didn't know how good we had it then while listening to such music like this "Red river rock". I had the very special privilege of seeing the rock 'n' roll scene unfold. It was truly beautiful and now full of fond memories. Thanks for watching and commenting. Rocking regards from Roland, I wish you all the best and have a nice day.

  • 1959- great music, good years. If only we could go back

  • Instrumental music - not the hit in the 60ies - but this one - simply great !

  • Thanks Nomiclas for looking and commenting. Rock 'n' roll isn't a world, it's a universe. Rock 'n' roll will always be, it will go down in historee. Keep rocking and rolling till eternity.

  • Rock and Roll is here to stay.so----------i pose the question,if an asteroid hit the earth and wiped the planet out,do you think that alien species have been monitoring us and will Rock still be here to stay?hypothetical i know.if it does actually become infinite i hope Johnny & the Hurricanes will be on the play list.

  • Such a catchy tune. Love it

  • That must have been a very special privilege and indeed a very great surprise. Thanks for looking and commenting. I hope you enjoyed the vid. Kind rocking regards from Roland.

  • I'm from Toledo and my piano teacher surprised me with a lesson from Johnny Paris in 1971, I think.

  • Great instrumental tune

  • It came from Toledo

  • Thank you very much grandma for your extremely positive and funny feedback. Glad you still love Johnny's efforts. It's a shame that this type of fantastic instrumental music has virtually disappeared from the playlists of radiostations. This is really good music and the more you listen, the better it gets. Your grandchildren don't realise what they are missing. Let them listen to the biggest crap ever such as Justin Beeper, Lady Gaga or Ricky Martin. Accept my great rocking regards, Roland.

  • Got the original 45. Play it a lot. But I cant get the grand kids to see the light. All I get is "Grandma, not again!! " Oh yes, again and again and again.

  • heard this on sopranos. love it

  • Thanks for your kindness. Ignore rock 'n' roll, you might as well ignore a vulcano.

  • Thanks for the upload. Red River Rock. Man, what memories. Roland said it best.

Rock and Roll is here to stay, it will never die,

It was meant to be that way, tho I don't know why.

I don't care what people say, Rock and Roll is here to stay.

  • ...ein superhit der 60er..

  • Johnny & The Hurricanes were 5 young men who have made an impact on the charts in 1959 with the old favorite “Red River valley” served up as a beauty instrumental titled “Red River rock”. The Hurricanes were all born around Toledo, Ohio and the group came together initially to entertain their friends at local highschool hops and at Saturday night jive sessions. During the summer months they played in Toledo’s Pearson Park. From there they graduted to club dates and one-night stands.

  • Remember these guys playing in Pemberville, Ohio in 1958 circa before they were with a manager. In the high school auditorium.before they were famous and just starting out.

  • Gaga, Beiber etc,, these are not 'artists' they are 'muppets'em

  • This were the days, the best music ever. Now these days with Justin Beeper, Lady Gaga, Ricky Martin, the biggest crap ever

  • @iluvmyphilippina totally agree with you this was music when you knew who was male/female to start with let alone the wonderful music long may rock n roll live

  • I LOVE IT!!!!

  • GREAT !

  • Vielen Dank. Ich wünsche dir alles Gute. Den respektvollen Grüsse von Rocking Roland.

  • Das ist Musik!!!

  • At 1:37 all I can say is.....OWWWWCH!!!!

  • Johnny Paris (1940-2006) was a fine saxophonist.

  • If you've ever heard Red River Valley, you'd wonder why he thought to redo it. It's such sad song about lost love a broken heart. But it can also be feel good music. Gotta love that vision.

  • Thanks for your very interesting comment on Johnny & The Hurricanes. Perhaps Johnny's widow Sonja Paris can help you.

  • Johnny and the Hurricanes were very close family friends. My parents, Jack & Theresa Hare owned the Bunny Hop in Middleton, WI, where the group played many many times. I am looking for old photos of shows that people saw there. If you could be of any help it would be greatly appreciated. I want to put together a photo collection for my Mom. Your help and time is so appreciated!! Please email me with info.....tonihare@yahoo.com

  • fett rymt

  • very fine tribute!

  • ROCK 'n' ROLL WILL NEVER DIE!

  • Indeed, this is a unique instrumental. I dig it too. It brings back some great memories of a bygone youth.

  • greatest instrumental out loveit

  • What goes around, comes around. Indeed this fabulous instrumental "Red river rock" brings back great memories of the 60's when we were young and carefree. Good times, good music. The great days are back again when we listen to Johnny and The Hurricanes. Thanks for your positive feedback. Glad you still like it.

  • This band was one of my favorites during the 60's. When I listen to the song so I can even feel a smell of my old boy's room. Strange. In the middle of the 60s, I was also in love with a Swedish rock band - THE ZETTLERS. When I listen to their recordings of "Skinnie Minnie" and "Beautiful Delilah" it gives me a lot wonderful memories.

  • Plenty of emotions on 16.8.2011. Today it's exactly 34 years ago that Elvis The King left us to sing for The Lord in heaven.

  • For my dear friend Nick on his 27th anniversary of his death.....8.1.1962 -16.8.1984...x x

  • Excellent!! Love it all...

  • Good job, guys! Thanks.

  • Thank you very much for this excellent and very interesting comment. Anybody who listens to this (fabulous instrumental of the late and great Johnny Paris) and says that they don't want to get up and have a dance is a liar.

  • I love this song in The Sopranos Season 6, The Ride. The song plays when Tony Soprano lifts up his niece and spins her around at the amusement park. Brings back so many memories, i almost cried. Good song, and an amazing tv series.

  • If it don't rock, then it won't roll. Rock 'n' roll is still alive and it rocks the world.

  • Great tune By Johnny & The Hurricanes.Rock On.

  • I love my friends. The nicest place to be in someone's thoughts. The safest place to be in someone's prayers. The best place to be in GOD's hands. Thanks Johan for being my friend.

  • FANTASMAGORICAL

  • 18 years dancing that in the club the" cousins" grd place a bruxelles around 1961......

    extraaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!!..

  • Ignore rock 'n' roll, you might as well ignore a vulcano. Rock 'n' roll isn't a world, it's a universe.

  • Yes indeed, Rock 'n' Roll will always be . . .

  • Yep - the second record I bought, (after Sanford Clark), no wonder I was ostracised by my class mates!

  • excentes fotos .

  • fuckin love it !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Ludo, you can't beat the golden oldies such as "Red river rock" and "Kili watch". I have taken for granted the things I should have taken notice of when I was younger. Wonderful good old days. Alas I can't turn the clocks back. I am left with a two dimential picture and the memories to go with what once life used to be. Kindest rocking and rolling regards from Rocking Roland.

  • Rocking Roland is going with his first establishment : Going Rocking and Rolling strange even more than 50 (!) years ago....this is really going out and pleasing : Jive and rock and roll**** And who's not, find a kilili watch girl ;-))) Great Roland! Kilikili Watch!!!

Wunderbare Zeit damals.

  • Yes, yes, yes, I got it. 100000 views of "Red river rock". Thanks a lot everyone for your listening and viewing.

  • you should know that in the 1960 era instrumentals had a place and it wasn't just elevator music.johnny and the hurricanes was the music that got us jacked up as kids and caused those crazy drag races and all that drinking and sex.it was great being young and this was just part of the passion.i feel sorry for the people that missed this time frame.

  • nice vid!

  • @nomiclas I do hope that in a few days "Red river rock" will reach 100000 views. It's a wonderful instrumental of the past. Sweet memories of days gone by. Great music, I don't stop playing it.

  • at 1.35 the splits that he did looks mighty painful !!!

  • I feel 16 , but am 55 when I hear this , thanx for posting and thanx Johnny , . . .

  • We play it this way at music lessons I LOVE RED RIVER ROCK! Lol

  • I always think about my life in earlier days when I hear this song. This song plays in my mind always. I see my Mom and Dad dancing. German Coke. Memories.

  • @cofgren1 - Thanks a lot for your great comment. Indeed this song brings back some memories of a bygone youth. At that time everybody was happy and careless. Today everything is so trashy and stupid.

  • You old timers dont fret, I listen to this and green onions in my blown 2010 camaro!

  • For me Johnny & The Hurricanes sounded better and more favorable than the Shadows or Ventures.

  • Fantastic.

  • @AndreaMimi1984 - Thanks, you're right. What a unique instrumental, out of this world. If you compare another instrumental to "Red river rock" then it's like a zip of dishwater compared to a glass of scotch.

  • @RockingRoland1

*looooooooooooooool* I prefer dishwater to scotch. *skoll* ;)

  • @RockingRoland1 Ive had the "R.R.R". 45 since I was a kid,I love it,and its a classic of the genre, but there's plenty of others more obscure that have surfaced on numerous compilation LPs/Cds(and here on YT) starting in the 80s that are just as good if not better,"Ghost Train" by the Swanks is one for starters.IMHO

  • I could kiss you for uploading this, brother. I'll save it for the mrs.

  • @gxcope - Thank you so much for the kiss. Glad you like it. I wish you all the best and keep rocking and rolling. Accept my great regards, Rocking Roland.

  • @RockingRoland1. Yes, i believe too.

  • Awesome !

  • @TheosHits - Thy. Gorgeous, appealing.

  • This was the first single I ever bought. The B side is Buckeye, both sides are unbelievable.Long live Johnny and the Hurricanes.

  • @jim48shaker - Thanks for commenting Jim . "Red river rock/Buckye" ( WARWICK 509) was your first single but it was J&H their second one. Their first was "Crossfire/Lazy" (WARWICK 502) in 1958. "Red river rock" earned the group an award as "Top Instrumental Group of 1959" presented by the U.S. music paper "Cash Box".

  • very very nice, love it so much

  • @liopaisa - Thanks for watching. I'm glad you enjoyed it. Indeed it's a unique instrumental. Really head noddin', foot tappin' and knee shakin' rock 'n' roll. What else can you say, I dig it too. I 've really enjoyed adding the pics to the music.

  • Great video, whoever gave this a "Dislike" needs to be hung by their gonads..

  • Who'd go back if we could... ha ha we all would! Gas was 29.9 and my Impala would run like a scalded dog.

  • @144822 yeah but your impala, like my Ford Galaxy, only got 13 mpg

  • A great instrumental, and a really swingin' tune. I know, it's only rock n roll, but I LOVE IT !!!!

  • @ITILII - Thank you for listenin' and commentin'. To me it's more than only rock 'n' roll. It's my life, it won't let me down. I wake up in the morning and go to bed at night with rock 'n' roll. It isn't only swingin' music, it's foot tappin', head noddin', knee shakin' music and all that jazz. If it don't rock, then it won't roll.

  • Paul Tesluk was my idol when I was 15. He played the Organ.

  • @Mondayrose1 - Indeed you're right. The Hurricanes started out as a college band in Toledo, Ohio. The group's leader Johnny Paris was studying mechanical engineering at the local university. They played at dances and functions to raise some cash for their studies and had no serious toughts of becoming professional musicians. At the end of 1958 The Hurricanes made their first tentative stab at the record charts with their debut single "Crossfire" on Warwick 502. It was an almost immediate success

  • If your hips aren't shakin' and your toes aren't tappin' after 30 seconds of this song, consult a physician: You may be dead and not have realized it yet.

  • @Hawthorne2k - Thanks, this is undoubted the best comment I've ever had. Unfortunately Johnny Paris is no longer with us. We have still his recordings to remind us of this fantastic instrumental group. The worst thing is being forgotten. As long as we have his legacy he will never be forgotten because he'll always be on our minds and will stay forever in our hearts.

  • Bahaha...the one noob who disliked this stands alone.

  • @BabyfaceJacob - Thank you very much for your very funny comment. 147 thumbs up and only 1 thumb down. This guy needs a doctor urgently because there's something not quite right with him. Perhaps a loner or maybe someone who doesn't like his own.

  • A very under rated band.Rock on

  • @ringo244 - "Red river rock" earned the group their only gold disc and also an award as "Top Instrumental Group of 1959" presented by the U.S. music paper "Cash Box". An LP titled after the hit featured 12 outstanding rocking tracks. They stormed into 1960 with 2 more hits "Reveille rock" and "Beatnik fly". With a nationwide top exposure on the Dick Clark and Alan Freed TV shows they toured the width of the USA in a brightly-coloured Volkswagen van.

  • Three talented arrangers -Tom King, Ira Mack and Fred Mendelsohn- helped Johnny Paris to create "Red river rock". The electric organ was used with great prominence on an updated version of an old country song "Red river valley". On Warwick 509, the disc reached number 5 in the U. S. Top 100 (17 weeks on the charts) and climbed to number 2 in Britain (16 weeks on the charts). In fact, it became a worldwide hit and in 1963 Irving Micahnik estimated that over 5 millon copies had been sold.

  • To go back to these days...if only for a while....just to feel that way again...so free and filled with hope and promise...to flip on the radio in the car and hear Johnny and the 'canes poundin' out this bad ass tune...windows down all the way--all four ef em--so everyone could hear it too. Dayum....

  • @Tigermoon1950 - The great days of the rocking sounds of Johnny & The Hurricanes are no longer with us but we still have their recordings to remind us of this fantastic instrumental combo who stormed into the US Top 100 no fewer than 9 times. The Hurricanes made one very significent contribution to the world of pop music. They were the first group to employ an electric organ in their line-up.

  • my dad played this for me when i was a kid loved it ever since

  • ROCK AND ROLL CAN NEVER DIE,IT was the first music of the young people,After the crisisyears of the 20and the 30ties,the world war 2,people make a new World,a world full of hope, people wanted to forget the horor of the war,and they made positive music,America and Europe build a new world for the future. The American livestyle fly everywhere,on a positive way,the time of the jukebox, the beautiful cars & motorbikes, the supermarkets, everything get more easy, the golden 60ties,rock&roll can never die

  • Whenever I listen to “Red river rock” I feel something special, a sort of nostalgia. Something that makes me reminisce about my childhood years when I was young and carefree. Something that brings me back to the past with so many wonderful memories. A youth for which I’m grateful I've had it. Something the youth of today have no idea what they're missing.

  • Proud of these guys...From my hometown...Sadly John Paris(Johnny) is no longer with us. But damn, back when music was good. When it wasn't about making on swear word rhyme with another, these guys rocked out. Happy to be from the town that spawned Johnny and the Hurricanes...

God Gave Rock And Roll To You

  • @GonzoGuyy - Thank you very much for your outstanding comment. Of course you can be proud being from the hometown of Johnny Paris. The Hurricanes were all born in the Toledo area and attended schools there. They got started playing for high school dances and teen hops. They appeared in Toledo's Pearson Park and from there they began getting club dates and local TV stints. "Crossfire" was there first waxing for Warwick Records in 1959. May the Almighty also give rock 'n' roll to you.

  • @RockingRoland1 Loving these guys makes up for Toledo producing Tom Scholz....

  • People new how to have a good time back in those days.

  • HALLELUJAH Great song!

  • @jtleddy1 - Thank you for listening and commenting. I really enjoyed adding the pics to the music. The foot tapping, head nodding, knee shaking rock 'n' roll transports me back in my teens.

  • I fucking love this music from the movie planes trains and autombiles, when they were driving and Steve Martin had his balls crushed.

  • @MrTrib1 - That must be very painful. Rock 'n' roll has balls. Great balls of fire.

  • Roland, the pic's wowed us. Judie, my ball and chain, sort of swooned when she saw Phil and Don. We can't agree on who the guy with Jerry Lee is at 0.29. Could you help? Thanks man from a couple of old farts who love the memories.

  • @144822 - "Red river rock" is a fine example of what great music used to sound like. It takes me back to my teens in the 50's and 60's when I didn't know how good I had it when listening to such songs. I'm missing the good old years. I'm very glad you and Judie like the video and enjoyed it. Thanks a truckload for listening and commenting. The guy next to Jerry Lee Lewis is of course the great Carl Perlins. Be good for Judie and may God bless you and yours. With kind rocking regards, Roland.

  • Takes me back to when I was drag racing in the late 50's and I had 3 things on my mind, cars, girls and music.

  • @144822 - Thank you very much for your positive feedback. It's very nice. Oh what I liked to live in the 50's when America was at it's best. Cool clothes, catchy songs, good times and cool music. I love to go back in time when I was young and carefree and "Red river rock" is still one of my all time favorites.

  • And it's plain for all to see

Without R'n'R there would be no R'n'B

YEAH! Rock and Roll saved the world & me.

    HALLELUJAH !

  • @PAULLONDEN - Thanks very much. One of the best comments I ever had. Rock 'n' roll is my life. It won't let me down. Rock 'n' roll rocks the world. It isn't even a world, it's a universe.

  • @PAULLONDEN

Rock 'n' roll will never die

  • This song was 50 years ago no.14 in the german year-end-charts #johnny #and #the #hurricanes

  • @LittleSweety - Thanks for your very interesting comment. In december 1962 Johnny & The Hurricanes played The Starclub in Hamburg. They were headlining a gig that included the then little-known BEATLES. This prefaced a well received visit to Britain in 1963.

  • this was my favourite tune . at Perth ice rink 50 years ago .they played this at the speed skating session.god it was exciting. i hope someone reads this .who remembers. where has the time gone.

  • @ingeniousbraveheart - Born John Pocisk in Walbridge, Ohio on August 29th 1940, Johnny Paris formed his first band while he was still at Rossford Catholic High School in Toledo. Johnny's next band The Orbits appeared on local television. For their first single "Crossfire" The Orbits were renamed Johnny & The Hurricanes. The follow-up was "Red river rock" in 1959. "Reveille rock" and "Beatnik fly" were smaller hits. Swtching to the Big Top label they had another hit with "Rocking goose".

  • thanks for posting this - I only just tracked down the name of this track and hadn't heard it in over twenty years!

  • @papercutpictures - Thanks and don't forget it, keep rocking and rolling. Even a troll likes rock 'n' roll.

  • How can anyone watch this..., without tapping their feet? I never tire of listening to it!

  • johnny paris rip

  • A Great song and Johnny and the Hurricanes were from Toledo, Ohio

  • @Wehategod - In september 1959, five young men made an impact on the charts with the old favorite "Red river valley" served up as a beauty instrumental titled "Red river rock". This swinging number featuring organ and sax marks the boys. The Hurricanes were indeed all born around Toledo, Ohio. The group consisted of leader Johnny Paris (sax), Paul Tesluk (organ), Tony Kaye (drums), Lionel "Butch" Mattice (bass) and David Yorko (guitar).

  • Rock 'n' roll will never die, it will go down in historee. Johnny Paris, the tenor saxophonist was the leader of the instrumental group Johnny and the Hurricanes called on the strength of Johnny's visual appeal. He has died in hospital at Ann Arbor, Michigan May 1, 2006 of sepsis and pneumonia aged 65. He modeled himself on Rudi Pompelli, the saxophonist with Bill Haley and the Comets. The sax-dominated millionseller "Red river rock" made the Top 10 both in the USA and Britain.

  • The new Johnny and the Hurricanes Red River Rock anthology just hit the market. It's a 3 disc set (2 cd’s and one dvd with live footage). All songs in this package have been re-mastered, which sets this album apart from other Johnny and the Hurricanes products on the market. Many who are pirate copies of inferior sound quality.

The anthology can be obtained through Amazon etc.

Sonja Paris (author of MAKE THE COUGAR PURR and widow of Johnny Paris)

  • @h1j1a - Unbelievable. Ain't that good news. Spread the news all over the world. Thanks a lot for this fantastic comment. PS: The real name of Johnny's widow is Sonja Reuter.

  • @h1j1a Thanks for the information. I have checked and found the anthology in Germany at alphamusic.de. The sound quality of the samples provided there is excellent indeed. Great news!

  • I agree with you in everything you wrote!

  • I can not sit still when I listen to Red river rock! What a super video you made to it,many memories also smile frome that time, when we were young. Thanks from me.

  • @TheStrixnebulosa - Thanks for your great comment. Rock 'n' roll is an expression to make people happy. Dream as if you'll live forever and rock the blues away.

  • Ace.......no more need be - or written

  • @tykecymraeg - I'm looking for rock 'n' roll like Zombies are looking for blood.

  • One of the greatest instrumentals of all time...

  • @jake83777 - Thanks for your comment. Of course you're right. The brand of brash, hooting, honky rock spiced with great guitar and sax solo's makes the sound of Johnny & The Hurricanes instantly recognisable and totally enjoyable

  • @jake83777 I am a generation behind and listend to this with my mom and dad, I still have good times back in those memories, they will never end

  • @jake83777 i would have to say that this is 1 of many great instrumentals back in the days gone by

  • Thanks, R'Roland! Thanks a truckload for sharing this wonder of a musical gem!

  • @mutterschied - Thy for your comment. It is indeed a hell of a groove. I'm glad you love it. Be good and may God bless you and yours.

  • @RockingRoland1 May God the Almighty bless you with light and Faith. Words like that you wrote here make this world a little bit better. Like an Indian Chief 1947 or any Vivaldi's mandolin buzz, there's kinda things that deserve to be high.

  • Thanks for sharing the Hurricanes' really great music to the world. I still have their original Stormsville album when I was a Detroit teen. Johnny's R&R instrumentals could lift even the heaviest spirit...so appropriate these days. Rock on.

  • @000rick - Thanks for your great comment. At this very moment "Red river rock" has more than 17000 views. It gives me great pleasure to share this music with everyone. I'm 63 years old and rock 'n' roll music keeps me young. There's one thing about rock 'n' roll and that's why it will never ever die. It's young people's music and it will stay because we'll always have young people. As long as we have young people, we'll have rock 'n' roll. Long live rock 'n' roll, long live rockabilly.

  • Little Richard's head is twice the size of any of the Beatles guys heads at 1:01

  • Johnny and The Hurricanes led by sax player Johnny Paris from the "Buckye" state of Ohio became one of the most successful instrumental rockbands with a string of hit singles on Warwick and Big Top. The band hit onto a successful formula by rocking up the oldies with a solid rhythm section, piping organ and rasping sax. I can remember one time in 1959 when I was allowed to take a record to school to play in the after-school, I immediately impressed everybody when I played "Red river rock".

  • nice to hear again

  • @ringo244 - No matter what they say, rock 'n' roll is here to stay. If it don't rock, then it won't roll.

  • What a tune gets the body rocking and the mind thinking .. Thanx 4 posting

  • @ANTFANTASTICO THANK YOU VERY MUCH FOR YOUR COMMENT. Wow, yeah great. Indeed this one's a hell of a groove. This is the real thing. Keep the rock on top. He who rocks last, rocks best.

  • Thank you. I was 12 when I first heard "Red river rock". I grew up with this 45 RPM. I still have that record and it keeps finding it's way to the turntable every so often. Great memories, great music.

  • Oh how I want to be in that number.... When the saints go marching in!

  • it was my first record.I became it on my 15th.Birthday in 1968....Rockn.Roll never die!

  • Thanks for your comment. It is correct that "Buckeye" was the B-side. The single was released Sept 1959. Johnny & Hurricanes are one of the few instrumental groups to be accepted by most rock 'n' roll collectors. Even if in general they only collect vocal rock 'n' roll. Their brand of brash, hooting, honky rock spiced with great guitar solos make them instantly recognisable and totally enjoyable. Johnny Paris died in hospital at Ann Arbor, Michigan aged 65.

  • I grew up with this on 45rpm...Warwick records, I believe-Buckeye was the b-side. Thanks for the memories of a bygone youth when I should've appreciated then the things I do now. Why does it always have to work that way?

  • Thanks again. The original combo Johnny & The Hurricanes was composed of leader Johnny Paris on sax, Paul Tesluk on organ, drummer Tony Kaye, Lionel "Butch" Mattice on bass and David Yorko on lead guitar. The boys were all born in the Toledo area. In the fall of 1959 they had their biggest hit with "Red river rock" and they were peaking again with "Reveille rock".

  • This instrumental band from the very early sixties could amost compare to The Tornados, a huge instrumental band that hailed out of England thru the early sixties, Telstar was by far their biggest success story here in America, Johnny and the Hurricans did have to rival The Ventures, with Walk Dn't Run and many others that leaned on the surfing sound. The Shadows, Santo & Johnny & of coarse Duane Eddy were also popular in the Doowop era. Johnny & the Hurricains live on, the others didn't!THX

  • Thanks Tom. That's a good idea for my next clip. I'm yours for rock 'n' roll. If I don't rock 'n' roll I don't have no fun at all.

  • i cant believe Rocking Goose is not on here there biggest hits anyway thanks for this great

  • Thanks for your comment and you're right. Rock 'n' roll isn't a world, it's a universe. Ignore rock 'n' roll, you may as well ignore a vulcano. It's good time music to make someone feel happy and excited. Even a troll likes rock 'n' roll.

  • Hail oh hail, rock and roll. This is the original top 40 insstrumental, nodoubt about that. I dig the slide show..inc Elvis, Chuck Berry, @ 0:43 Gene Vincent & the Bluecaps, @0:50 Eddie Cochrane & Gene Vincent(right?), @ 0:56 Little Richard and so on. A memorable R&R classic, it was never my favorite, but it certainly rocks. Instruments seemed to be popular on the top 40, from The Tornados, to The Rockin' Rebels and duane Eddy, this was the Doowop era of Rock Pop. Thx4 postin'

  • Thank you so much Ron. I'm grateful. Rock 'n' roll I gave you all the best years of my life.
