My cat Tiger doesnt look like any of these! he has unique stripes (some form a circle, 2 on his chest, several filled spots on his tummy, and bottom end, he is cream and orange, has an M on his forehead, sort of big, has shortish mediumish fur, and looks muscular. Tell me what type he is please?

@ArtsandCook101 Look at its face/head and you might get a good clue. If it's almond or triangle or diamond shaped, it might have an exotic cat background. If it's round, it's related to the american or english short hair

@saifsimpson Most cats are not aggressive unless they are feral (wild). Possible reasons for aggressive behavior in a domestic cat: pain, abusive teasing, fear, neglect, loud noises. Himalayans (I have one) are usually gentle, sweet, but have an independent nature.

@MegaDannyboy98 It's true the tabby is a CAT and an adorable one at that, but it is not a bloodline breed. Look it up at Wikipedia: The tabby is not a breed of cat, nor is it a coat color. It's simply a coat pattern. It can show up in combination with a variety of coat colors.

I would never forget those nice cats, but tabbys are not pure breeds. They're a "design" (stripes). BUT if I happen to be mistaken, you can gather up a group of alley cats and have them screech at me all night long!

From what I've researched, A tabby could be an American shorthair or and English shorthair . It depends on the stripes.

Fur: glossy, thick medium length. The Norw. Forest Cat has thick double coat with long fur between toes. Front legs much shorter than hind. Friendly, playful, likes kids, loves outdoors. Also a large cat. All 3 breeds come in several colors. I hope this helps but, you're right, all 3 breeds are VERY similar.

OMG i never knew what my cat was, it turns out it was an American Bobtail. Its weird tho because she was born in the wild and the rest of her siblings were normal housecats. She was the only one with a bobtail (Any1 have a idea why or how this is?). We named her Bobbie since she resembled a bobcat. Sadly after 12 years of her life we had to put her down because of mammary cancer. I miss her soooooooooo much. almost cried when i seen the picture. If this was infact her breed they are great pets!

not sure if Calico is an actual breed or a color description. anyone know for sure? Calicos are always 99.99% female (if male, it is highly rare and then 99.99% sterile) and always have 3 colors (white, black and orange/rust). usually very sweet natured.
