@chidragon60 apologize for the delay in responding, but only suggestion I have is to wrap in an upward motion and use your free hand as a guide to hold, smooth out the middle. thanks for watching
@mrjacobvyork no all girls don't do it, but if you wrap your hair, you will have a smoother texture to your hair and it has a bend and the bottom that doesn't require heat (which too much heat is not good) the next day to keep your hair from being too straight. hope that helps you to understand some. good questions though :)

i sometimes get a perfect wrap like this one, only when my hair grows back from cutting it into a bob the short hair in the back wont stick, but i love wrapping my hair its so convenient!

lol, I don't mean to be so rough :) it's not healthy to put heat on your hair everyday unless you're a celeb who has someone tending to their hair everyday. otherwise, try wrap it every night and only put heat on 1-2x per week. Yes, her hair is MUCH shorter now cause she's in college has been taking care of it (or not taking care of it) herself. lol. but like she said, "Mom, it's just hair." lol thanks for watching and commenting

I've been wrapping her hair for apprx 8 years, except the last 4 she's been away in college so I only wrap when she comes home occasionally; but I wrap my hair EVERY night. Wrapping gives your hair a flat ironed look w/o putting heat on your hair nightly. It also keeps your hair smooth & straight rather than frizzy or coarse. I believe your hair even grows faster because less heat and a scarf protects it during the night. thank you for watching and loving the vid. be blessed

we use Motions lavish conditioning shampoo and after shampoo conditioner. So whatever brand you use, be sure to condition your hair also. For oil we use Olive Oil hair sheen and a couple of nights a week after you've wrapped your hair spray on some IC pm night time oil treatment. don't use too much oil, keep it light, but also don't let your hair get too dry and brittle. be sure to tie your hair every night. I/we are by no means expert, but I have been taking care of her hair from birth lol
her hair was much longer than this until she went away to college 3 years ago and started taking care of it herself. It's shorter each time she comes home :) so I don't think she's been adhering to the method I previously outlined for you, but hopefully that helps you
Great technique...wrong utensils! Try a paddle brush-you won't be dissappointed. Also, where's the body in her hair? Use less oil...it smothers the hair fillicle. All you need is a little sheen that does not contain alcohol. Try Keracare-it's great! Just a few pointers. Check out Ateyaa's channel

My problem I think I may need a better brush, and I normally use a rattail comb. I'm going to wrap my hair tonight like you demo it. I'll let you know how it turns out. Thank you. She has really healthy and shiny hair. I wish that I knew how to wrap my hair. Wraps keep your hair beautiful and prevent it from becoming tangled.

no, not a beautician. never did anyone's hair besides my own and my daughter. other than I've braided other people's hair. I love braiding. I've just been wrapping hers and mine for years. thanks for watching and commenting.

she had a relaxer about 5 days before. so I just brushed it straight. also wrapping keeps it straight. thanks for watching
