Thank you for this video! I was young Meggie's age when my mom avidly watched The Thorn Birds on tv back in the eighties. Back then, I couldn't understand what all the fuss was about, and why my mom was so obsessed about it! Years later, I got it on DVD...and saw at once why she (and millions more across the world) love it so much. The best love story ever made. I now have a young daughter, and she is the image of young Meggie
