Love Johnny Mathis...One of the best ! Even great singers hit bad notes occasionally. At 21 seconds in. Makes us mere mortals feel better when we do it. I saw him perform in Australia many years ago and it is still the best concert I have seen!!

He celebrated his 50th anniversary as a recording artist in Atlantic City on October 27, 2006 a few months short of his 70th birthday. As of March 13, 2008 he's 71, and I promise you he can still sing wonderfully well. Who expects a 71 year old man to sound 35? But a 35 can't give you the emotion of a man who has lived 50+ years on the stage.
