No project is perfect, and no one wants accidents to happen. Technology like this can be used to deliver aid in the future like you mentioned. But even then, the solution isn't generally a matter of getting aid TO countries in record time. It's a matter of getting aid dispersed throughout countries. And when other countries oftentimes lack the proper infrastructure (i.e. after disasters or wars) then all the deliverable aid in the world won't help.

I did the math really quick. If its true that it reaches speeds of 13,000 mph (and given if it maintains that speed for almost the whole duration of the flight)
Thats 216.66 miles a minute
A flight from New York to London is 16 minutes in theory! not including the 2 hour boarding time but still. Thats what I call taking up the option of flying the express! Wish it was a plane instead of another war weapon though. It would be a wish come true to fly something that fast.

@xXxgriefelementxXx oh its pretty close to correct in my estimation.... we had the f-117 developed in the late 60's, and the b-1 didnt get revealed until 1990. my best guess is this thing was being developed in the late 80's- early 90's in some form( ie the triangular flying platform) and there are likely several different prototypes of varying sizes and capabilities. this is just the one that they chose to let the public know about.
