@hostafurrr its anti lag. not a 2 step. 2 step runs off cutting fuel when the vehicle is at a stop. this aids in launching but sounds nothing like this. anti lag is to aid in turbo spool often in rally. in between gears or at launch. two different things.

@freekaleek876 that's it!! 500hp and stock internal .. everytime you're boosting it more than 10psi, you're pushing the rod over it's limit and when you rev your engine without any load, the rod is working to pull the piston back (a job a rod shouldn't do) at low rpm it's fine, the rod doesn't stretch that much, but at 6000-7000 it stretch about .040" ON FORGED ROD. keep doing it! i dare you.

i think that it he is holding it at about 4500rpm yes but that will cause a build up of unburnt fuel in the exhaust and then he hits the rev limiter and that cut the fuel suply to the engine so just hot air is rushing through the exhaust and the temp of the exhaust + the amount of fuel then combine ad ignite causing the backfire or i think its along those lines i cant quite rember but i am pritty sure

it was filmed at Donny '08, a car show. it was a race spec car running serious anti-lag, he was tuning it as he going along. also on the day there were about 5 other cars also running anti-lag that were backfiring, but i cant be in all places at once!!
