I know how it is, our whole family business was destroyed. I was able to keep going on by myself, I assumed all the debt. But I feel the same way, I have 4 nieces 5 and under who now each have $40,000 debt before they realize what $1 really is. And we havent even seen the start of this nightmare. If you need to get somewhere, cut out some cardboard and write "homeless" or "need food" or "No money" stuff like that will keep you under the radar theoretically. Heck, walk with a fake limp.

Don't limit yourself to 'things you buy', think bigger: behavior, psychology, spirituality.

Sadly no,but I do have lots of trees. I'm not sure about Fl,I'm thinking that will be one of the states to get ugly quickly. They've already been hit hard with the housing fiasco.Warm does sound great though,it's already snowing here grrrrrrrr

I dunno how to do hugs and kisses in "text mode", but you gotta cut them trees at least a "season" before you plan to burn them for fuel. No shit, this year's timber is next year's firewood, otherwise, it just explodes in your fireplace 'cause it has too much water trapped inside. So, take the money you were planning to pay some banker, and buy yourself some proper (dried) firewood.

Yeah, FL will get ugly, along with CA and NV. At least FL is close, and livable.

I haven't paid those bankers in a few months. They're starting to miss me. If stuff gets bad before spring my parents are close and have pellets for their stove and a full large tank of propane so we won't have to freeze.
