The game IS absolutely amazing except for some whole bunch of minor setbacks; but some guys prefer to play table tennis (or volleyball) in stead of tennis, like mr. Sampras in this video. Playng a net addict is almost a totally different game.
i just got wii sports resort and an extra wii motion plus and I wan this game so much now. My favorite Wii Sport Resort game was table tennis and I wish they had Tennis for Wii sports resort. This game looks amazing and no friend codes.
Be warned, it plays VERY differently. There isn't any real 1:1 on screen racket movement like there is on WSR, so if you're used to that it will be a change you'll have to get accustomed to. That and you're going to have to contend with stat based players too, meaning doing a strong forehand motion with one character may give you very different results than with another. It is a good game, but like I said it's different. Oh, and the calibration points are invisible too.
everyone i play online just serves and volleys its so damn annoying until i master the motion plus i refuse to play those types who do it all the time its rather boring lol and lobs dont work
What's your EA tag, mine's darknight06. We should play sometime. My created character is an All Court player and if I use him I tend to struggle against the serve and volley folks too. I did manage to send one of them home crying online once, but other than that it's an uphill battle unless I go with Sampras.

I dont find it awkward at all, after you play the game for a day or two and learn how to swing properly, this game will amaze you how accurate the swing is.

EA uses their own servers for their games, that's why there's no FCs. That's been the case with every online title they've released on Wii that uses EA nation.

True. I'm trying to break some bad habits I have on this game. However, hitting lobs in this game is a bitch to do. At least for me. I mean, the obvious thing is to line up for it but even then I'll swing into air.
well be happy that your wii makes the game work. the game freezes on me including this loud buzz noise. i do not like it and it does not allow me to get any better. besides this game is hard to master because of the fact of the wii motion plus.

I play tennis lots, and I wanted to get a wii motion plus tennis. I'll have to get used to it but I'm willing to get past the learning curve.

It is hard, but I'd say whenever you Wii starts working properly again give it another go. When it starts to make sense, the game is a lot of fun.

Much more so than Wii Sports tennis, I'd have to say. It's not 100% perfect, but it's gets the fundamental aspects of the game down better.
