its an older (80's or 90's) Epiphone with green key tuners. Korean most likely. Gibson had many places over seas to make the Epi's back then. These are the most desirable of the ones made over seas. better quality than the ones made in China now. Do your research.

stuff a piece of cloth under the trem bridge to hold everything in place and then change the strings ....take the cloth out again and you're good to go ....hope that makes sense

hahaha im not the idiot dude. maybe YOUR epi is better than your friends gibson but generaly gibsons are much better. better quality hardware, wood, balance etc. there is always a possibility that you get a dud though. not every gibson is made perfectly

but in general in my epi i hav put sd distortions in it and for the price it sounds better then any gibson lp standard and altogether has only cost me £650 altogether so in gibson u are pretty much paying for the name as the quality of gibson guitars has dropped in the past few years

hahaha nah man gibsons are still the shit..its not ALL about the sound theres also playability, weight, comfort, consistent action, etc. much more to consider than just pure sound. plus you have to consider what amp your using. if you play a gibson through an aslin dane its gonna sound like shit haha.
