There are two origins of May's name.

1st, she became my family in May.

2nd, my favorite character "My Neighbor Totoro" (Japanese anime film from Studio Ghibli) "Mei Kusakabe". May and Mei are the same pronunciations in Japanese. I am wishing May to become a child as active as Mei.

Scottish Fold thinks that it is found by it also in the United States.
