ok i have a question. i first really started listening to led zep about a month ago and OMG they are the SHIITTT!! but why are these videos with this "BBC Sessions" pic different than the album versions? like what is this? in my opinion, i think Heartbreaker sounds waaay better here than the album version, but i dont like their Since Ive Been Loving You better than the album version. can someone explain plz:)? before i was more a rap person so i dont know much, but i have read bio's about them

@mrchango147 Most of the BBC Sessions are live. Zeppelin live versions will differ a lot from the studio. They improvised on most songs. Immigrant Song has a guitar solo whenever you here it live - the album version has none. Something like Dazed and Confused had other songs woven into it and was typically 30 minutes long in concert, as an example.

This album had several versions of a couple of songs. I lost mine, and haven't seen a copy for years. As for the comments about there being crappy bands back then, there certainly were. If you listened to AM radio, it was just as bad back in those days, as it is now. Bands like Zeppelin, Black Sabbath, Pink Floyd, etc. were not main stream. None of their songs got air time. We listened to albums, at parties, and a few very lucky kids saw them in concert. God bless satellite radio & youtube.
