Mac is Great! MacBook Air...P.O.S. MacBook & MacBook Pro have more RAM and bigger HD's than the Air, the Air isn't upgradable and the MB & MB pro are way cheaper! I'm not paying that much just to fit it inside a manila envolope...why would you? And, on top of that, you have to pay $100 EXTRA just for a CD drive! WTF? Apple SERIOUSLY NEEDS to drop the price on the air!

Man you can slice a person in half if you threw that with enough force lol... Man I saw this in an Apple Store and I so wanted to take it.. This probably is the best looking laptop ever created... Apple does sets benchmark, can you imagine, 2 years down and still there is hardly any competitor to challenge the Air for the thinness crown!!!
one thing i heard, which i really agree with, is how apple manage to create the 'thinnest notebook on the planet' and the 'smallest music player on the planet', when really they are just cheating.
you cant call it a computer and then make the most common parts accessories, such as the hard disk drive. and the same with the new ipod shuffle, you cant move controls somewhere else and then say its still a music player. thats like buying a phone and then realising, oh, you have to buy an extra attachment and plug in a cord to have a display. it doesnt matter what it is, but then they take things out to make it thinner, it is just stupid.
iPod Shuffle is a bit different, since it ships with the headphones you need to use it. Also, assuming you means "optical drive" rather than "hard drive," they shipped the MacBook Air with software to let you use another computer's optical drive on the Air, so it's not cheating, but rather ingenious.
