  • What a fantastic bunch of muscians.

  • At around 0:21, does that audience member say "Can I sing?"

  • Whatever happenend to these wizard musicians?

  • The girl has talent! Got the funkadelic!

  • This really shows what an amazing singer, performer, artist she is ... people should be covering her songs - honouring her.

  • Joan is one of those obscure and very underrated talents that come along once in a blue moon. I have been following her since the mid 70's and have seen her "live" more times than I can count. Never disappoints and she always has a top notch band backing her up. So tight! Just saw her about 2 years ago for the first time in about 20 some odd years and she definitely has still got it. Loved everything about her shows.....one of those rare artists that are so much better "live" than on record.

  • When i was about 15 I sat outside festival hall in brisbane Australia listening to her ,I didn`t have a ticket but still really enjoyed it and the amount of pot smoke wafting out of that hall was enough to get anyone stoned

I did see her in later years and it was awesome ,I love he eyes in this video she is so cute

  • Thanks! This helped me through alot!!!! The energy after hearing this song is amazing!

  • Wow, how can you possibly *not* "show some emotion" after a performance like that?!

  • Amazing keyboardist!

  • Loved this song the first time I heard it back in the 70s.Love Joan Armatradfing.

  • Brilliant combination of a good song and great musicianship - I had the album when it first came out on vinyl - remains very special

  • Joan, they ain't gonna sing love, they're too busy been blown away by you lot! Nice one people.

  • I first heard this song when it was new back in the mid-70's - probly about the time period this video was 'filmed'. It was at the time when FM radio played real music, and the station was WKDF FM103 in Nashville - of all places.

The tune is every bit as powerful now as it was then, and still sounds just as 'fresh' as it ever did.....

Timeless & classic.... Still gives me goosebumps......

  • Eine der besten Fassungen!!CUTE & FONKY !

  • an amazing and original talent, thanks for posting it

  • feel free joan? singing mate:)

  • Mothers Finest - the band you mean ? Oh yeah they are brilliant too !

Do you by any chance know the names of the bandmembers that are playing with Joan ?

    Regards,

    Alex

  • @Alexicoo I don't recognize most of the band, but I'm pretty sure that's Jean Roussel on piano.
