I loved Macross, but could absolutely never get through the Southern Cross section after multiple tries. Someone tell me I can watch the Mospeada one regardless; I know several people whose favorite Robotech series is that one, but I've always hesitated watching it since I never finished the prerequisite. Lie to me if you have to. I'll believe you, since that one had the best (vocal) songs anyway.

This is such a good song for our troops today. This song is truly a timeless classic. I love this song and Micheal Bradly's voice. My older brother got me hooked on Robotech. What a great story Robotech was. With the exception of Reba West this show had some real vocal talent. No cartoon can ever come close to this.

@LadyMoondancer well on that note look at rick and lisa rick being a hot shot piilot to a responsible commanding officer and his later wife lisa a strict and well rounded commander relaxing a bit. what draws me to robotech is the fact that you see characters in it evolve from what ever they are to heroes in their own respective way. dana in the next series and like some one said above rend scott and that group as well bonding more and more like a family. that is life in a anime good for C. Robotech was awesome One of my all time faves. back when it first came out int the mid to late 80's I'd always get my ass home from school in time just to watch it.
