This unit is the1/172nd AR of the Vermont National Guard in Camp Shelby, Miss in 2005. We were getting ready to go to Ramadi Iraq, at the time the worst place you could be. Say what you want about this video, but when people heard us they new the Vermonters were coming.

@dubnrealhard it doesnt matter if we guard it 2 days a month and 2 weeks a month, we wear the same uniform and were there if were needed, as a matter a fact 40% of the guard is currently in afghanistan and we call cadence as well its just that the guy who posted it up was probably mistaken or something

@RyanHiggsMusic What the hell is "National Guard BCT"? Last time I checked, Active, Reserve, and National Guard all go to the same BCT and AIT/OUST. And if your wanting to go Ranger, you might as well go active. I've never heard of a National Guard Ranger unit. haha
When was this shot. I know when I joined my Guard Unit back in 06 they were still in BDU's but switching over to ACU's. With that being said it may not have been that long ago but further back than 09

I find that shunning other branches and (shamelessly) promoting yours is just part of the military culture. Ypu shouldn't take it too seriously, you know that people appreciate your service no matter which branch you're in or where you serve.
