  • "regulation". That's another concern i have with the GOP, their inability to specify.

By deregulation do they mean expedite the process of bringing new drugs to the market (good), or creating another ENRON that will bleed another state dry (bad)?

Their recent record (with tax-reform and U.S. Call Center Worker and Consumer Protection Act) suggest the latter

Either way, if they can't clearly state their case in front of their people, they are probably wrong.

  • Gingrich seems to not want comments on most of his pages......guess he doesn't care to hear what the people think, huh?

  • good

  • It's safe to say that Ron Paul has the nomination in the bag.

  • @504Anon

It's safe to say that with an average of 43% the voters 'undecided' that nothing but this is safe to say.

  • Seriously? He is the same man with a different name that we have elected over and over and over. It is time to choose a man with the integrity to lead us in a manner that is different than we have witnessed in the last 50 years-the constitutional manner. It is about time to Restore America in 2012...that man is RON PAUL

  • @possumpistol

Why must Ron Paul trolls troll, everywhere?!?!?

  • @chrisagehman just for you......RON PAUL 2012 peace

  • Obama didn't need a teleprompter to wipe the mat with McCain, who is a much better debater than Newt.

But the delusions of Republicans are quite amusing.

  • Newt Gingrich’s own sister is voting for Obama.

  • Ron Paul 2012, Newt is more of the same. All the candidates spew out pure garbage, as Ron Paul actually gives thoughtful answers. People need to wake up. This is important!

  • Newt Gingrich will be Barack Huessein Obama's WORST NIGHTMARE. But don't worry Obama, you can still have your little teleprompter buddy to help you on your way to losing the white house DECISIVELY to America. No more socialism.

  • NEWT 2012 !!!!!!!

Ron paul is just too old like what 200 years old lol ?!!!

  • NEWT ...don't make me laugh. He'll never be President. Just look up "serial hypocrisy" on you-tube.

Ron Paul or none at all.

  • @ Lakota Ron Paul has ideas that will not and can not work. Keep dreaming that he will ever have a chance. Newt has smart ideas that can work

  • @gibblitvision I'm pro immigrant don't get me wrong, the unpalatable thing is democrats dangling the entitlement carrots in front of them so they get their kids votes. If everyone just took care of themselves, I'd gladly trade any Mexican willing to walk 1600 miles for a job with a silver spoon fed pot smoking welfare recipient who just happened to fall between the right women's legs on this side of the boarder.

  • @gibblitvision 3) We currently get most of our oil from Saudi Arabia and soon Brazil, using US money to create jobs in South America and supporting a shit load of terrorists madrasas which is where a lot of the Saudi money goes. To be as foul as you, you seem to prefer sucking terrorist dick rather than US oil companies who pay taxes, feed Americans, not to mention being dependent on foreign oil has gotten us into 2-3 wars.

4). The fed controls interest rates and he wants to audit it.

  • @gibblitvision 1) git rid of illegal immigrants, we have 8.7% unemployment of AMERICAN citizens, they need the jobs, not people who come here, don't pay any federal taxes, and send the money back to mexico.

    2) I'm sure you and Neville Chamberlian would have been great buddies in believing people like Adhemejad and Hitler were bluffing when they threatened Poland and Isreal and that there's no such thing as evil people.

  • Newt is such a badass...

  • This SOB took over one million dollars to give "advice" to Freddie? Hell, I could have given then advice for free...However, I don't have his contacts!

  • @TheNova1960 Obama took 800k in bribes (for doing nothing) from Fanny and Freddie exec's and he's the fuckin president not some private citizen jesus christ. Should private citizen's not do business with Fanny and Freddy? If so, I guess 2.6 million of us should default on our mortgages, everyone working for Fanny and Freddie should quit right? Idiots. Maybe if the CEO was a terrorist like Ayers you'd feel better about it.

  • @F1reF0rEffect Private citizens? These are government officials and as a US tax payer why should I pay for their bad investments? I own and operate a business and no one has bailed me out...I'm responsible for my own business decisions, and if I fail I'm sure I would be advised to file for bankruptcy. Advising Freddie and Fannie to approve loans to those who have no credit or bad credit with no money down is terrible advice, and Newt was paid for that advice? He lined his pockets...

  • @TheNova1960 The only people that support the bail out are those who currently own homes, eveyone else I'm sure agrees that we should have let them fail. Newt is on the record for breaking them up. Secondly tell me one for profit business that doesn't try to line their pockets, is that your personal business strategy to suck at making money? If the conotation is that no one should do business with Fanny and Freddy, theres about 2.6 million people in line for us to bitch at, including Obama.

  • @F1reF0rEffect The whole idea of owning and operating a business is to make a good product, get paid for hard work, and to provide employment for others. Business owners take a huge risk with their money, time, and that's lining one's pockets? Newt taking his $1.8 million dollars for his "hard work"! LMAO...RON PAUL...promotes taking responsibility for your own life...so get to it buddy! Get off my pay check and stop defending bad behavior!

  • @TheNova1960 The idea in life is to make as much money as you can (ethically and honestly) with as little effort possible -It's called efficiency. Is that how you run your business, make it as hard as possible? LMAO is right, that's the dumbest thing I've ever heard. Do you stay awake all night b/c investors make a living off of simply pressing a button? And what does working smarter not harder have to do with being responsible other than your not very bright?

  • @F1reF0rEffect You wouldn't know the first thing about owning and operating a business because you are a clear cut case of mistaken non-entity! If you think that you can sustain a business for many years "with as little effort as possible" you are wrong and need to be quite. :)

  • @TheNova1960 You had a problem with Newt lining his pockets for work you classified as not hard- my point to you was that the vast majority whether they be employees or employers try to line their pockets. Who in their right mind doesn't want to be wealthy? Second, if you can make a great living by doing something you are good at that happens to be easy, there isn't a single rational person (excluding you) that would turn it down. It's common sense.

  • @TheNova1960 This has little to do with running a business and everything to do with common sense. If having easy work that pays well is bad in your opinion, do you pay your employees poorly and give them a lot of work? When it's time for a particular employee to get a raise, instead of allowing them to line a little more of their pockets, do you tell them instead you did them a favor and donated it?

  • We surely do need to boost manufacturing, which is why Newton should not have rammed NAFTA through.

  • Gingrich is corrupt and immoral.

  • Mr. Gingrich: What will you do to protect our dying dollar so that it can continue to be the WANTED/DESIRED currency of the world? There is a real possibility that the USD will be replaced as the world currency -- several countries have proposed this. The USAD used to be the currency that all countries wanted, but it is more inflated/devalued than the government and media admit. Printing $'s out of Obama's magic hat and w/ a huge trade deficit, plus 15 TR. in debt won't help.

  • @gibblitvision Maybe living in your parents basement drinking 40oz's sounds like a sweet future for you, but America needs real hope. Obama is a train wreck. I am a 54 hour a week route sales rep for Frito Lay that has moved many thousands of tons of goods with my own strength in far more physical jobs previously (milkman, coca cola, paper ind.) to rise out of a roach infested apartment to own my own house and two vehicles today. Get trashed and forget to vote that day....LOSER.

  • liberalism is a mental disorder.

  • There is NO man better for the responsibility of the presidency today than Newt Gingrich.....unequivocally.....not just among the candidates available, but LITERALLY out of every single American....he is stellar...a GODsend right now. Obama is the exact opposite of Newt and proved to be the worst person available for the Presidency.

Newt is scorching hot....so much so that he leaves all listenrs in awe....we are not prepared to hear such stunning HOPE and CHANGE!!!...for real. He has the answer

  • I always thought we need superman to save this nation, with super knowledge /super experience and must be true patriot who love this country. As to experience , I mean political since President must solve issue politically. But,, at the same time, I prefer President with knowledge and experience in economy. I think such person is Newt Gingrich. Gingrich knows how govt branches works and interact. I think it is time that we elect someone we know for sure can get the job done.

  • I'd love to have the morals of this man compared to the morals of Obama. As a Canadian, I want to see you succeed. However, we are more than willing to do business with Asia instead. There are pragmatists who will benefit us all. We'll help you one way or the other. Good luck folks.

  • Obama is scared to death to have debate this man mono e mono!

  • Newt so damn sharp. My lord theres know way that we don't become a thriving nation with him as president

  • The Obama era of secular socialism is almost over. We're only a shot away. It's important, though, to find a candidate and stick with him, so that he (NEWT!!!!!!) can stay up in the polls and he'll win the nomination by a long shot. The debates are grotesquely, antically and bizarrely inefficient and have allowed only Romney to succeed in the polls; not based on his position on policy, but because the media hates Newt. Fox anoints Romney just as the rest have anointed Oba-Mao.

  • Oh no..... Gingrich panders to the Iowa gasohol fiasco and big ag. I'm really disappointed. It shows that Gingrich will knuckle under of special interests that are hurting the American economy. We need free market economics. Not .subsidies.

  • I like Gingrich, but if you listen closely he is STILL talking about and believes in manipulation of the economy by the politicians. He is correct on Europe, BUT he also doesn't understand that European "scheming" to have advantages over US manufacturing is an economic cul de sac for Europe. It hurts them in the long run, one of the many reasons that Europe is even worse off than the USA.

  • Listening to Newt is like watching an All-Star Hockey player. He's graceful, and speedy. When he needs to be he can be brutal and hard-hitting. He's-as Eric Cartman would say-awesome and kewl!

  • @GrandFunker Couldn't have said it better. Hopefully we can say 'President Gingrich' next year.

  • Newt knocks it out of the park, once again. Keep it up... we're "With You"

  • Mr. Gingrich makes more sense than anyone I have heard. He portrays CHANGE that I am looking forward to. CHANGE back to our Constitution, CHANGE to working America as opposed to Unemployed America. CHANGE to America depending on herself and her people to survive and grow. To use our own resources. To dismantle the EPA and Department of Energy. Empty the Federal coffers of jobs and put America to work. Thank You .

  • @Lakota928 Newt pressed his first wife to finalize their divorce while she was in the hospital recovering from cancer surgery. Following that, he then cheated on his second wife with his current wife. Trying to impeach a president for infidelity while engaging in it yourself will take some explaining. His marital behavior is going to raise a lot of eyebrows among the social conservatives and make it very difficult to gain the votes he will need to carry the Bible belt states.

  • @vechorik Wron, wrong and wrong. The myth that he tried to divorce his wife while in the hospital has been denied by people who would know. HIS OWN KID!!! He tried to impeach clinton for lying under oath not for sleeping with monica. The bible beaters in the south know damn well newt will destroy obama in debates so they will fall in line. He has had personal issues& he's not my first choice but he certainly is near the top.

  • @theinfamousjohnnyv

Well said. Clinton was impeached btw.

  • @vechorik You may be right. But they will have to make a choice: a Christian conservative that has admitted his faults and sought God's forgiveness or a Black Liberationist that sat in a Marxist church for 20 years. A conservative that believes in American exceptionalism or someone that gets uncomfortable every time he's asked the question. A conservative that support Israel or a Socialist that supports the Muslim Brotherhood. Wait until the people get to know Newt, and not just his press.

  • @Lakota928 yeah he also got 1.6m in bailout money from freddie mac what a wonderfull person stealing money from the people ..

  • @mixfight12

Stealing money from the people? You're implying that actual work (for him, it was sharing or as he put it "consulting" information with F&F, he never actual passed legislation that was to their advantage) is "stealing," and I bet you'd suggest that redistributing the wealth is the right way to earn money and the BOURGEOISE (google it) should let go of their petty, greedy businesses.

I'm Libertarian, but Ron Paul is a little scary on foreign policy.

    NEWT 2012!

  • Of that Obama money buy a catapult and launch the super committee into the moon?

  • Might I suggest taking some of that on

  • The liberals or socialists in this country do not want Newt Gingrich running in the 2012 election . Because they know if Newt runs they lose and this American Republic wins . There is no other candidate running in the GOP or the DNC that makes as much sense . Newt Gingrich is a constitutionalist and will demand that the US Constitutional law be enforced . If you want a government to pay your way and be your mommy and daddy I suggest you go to Greece and see how thats working out for them .

  • i was on UI for 9 months b4 i found out i could qualify for federal student loans and grants to return to school! i jumped on the chance and am in school now.

he is right! they should make it where u have to go back to further you education if you wish to receive UI benefits.

i wish i would of known sooner it was an option and only learned because i researched it!

they should be telling everyone they can go back to school

  • Most people do Not know that Ethanol being added to gasoline actually Reduces Gas Mileage!

  • I'll be glad when there are fewer candidates on stage during the primary debates so Newt gets more airtime.

  • Great Job Newt, I'm with you!

  • Once again Speaker Gingrich speaks common sense and provides actual plans to help America out of its troubles.

  • Wages do not necessarily go up with productivity. Wages go up when employers decide to increase them.

  • @shueevon

Yeah, right, and employers raise wages willy nilly completely regardless of their business prospering due to increased worker productivity...

  • @shueevon

What might motivate employers to "decied to increase wages"?

  • @CDB1952 Profit margins and market price for needed human capital... nothing more. Being nice has nothing to do with it.

  • @CDB1952 Retaining the most talented and skilled workers produces effeciency and profitability over low compensated competitors.

  • @shueevon Supply and demand. As unemployment goes down, there will be a larger demand for qualified workers as the pool to pick from decreases. To attract potential employees, employers must increase wages to get their labor.

  • This is the one point with which I disagree with NG. Unemployment is NOT payment for doing nothing. I can tell you I spent more hours per week looking for work when I was unemployed than I spent working when I was employed. This view is incredibly shortsighted. At the end of a seven month search for work within my field, I did find gainful employment. If I were required to sit through classes designed to redirect me to an entry level job in another field, I'd have had to sell my home; bad idea!
