I can't figure out if they're faking the chinese accent or if it's natural. After they stopped speaking chinese the first time, they sounded briefly very western.

Even still, their english is better than most HK people. Not just accent but fluency. Some are very hard to listen to.

It's neat to see non-ethnic Chinese speaking Cantonese fluently, but there's nothing amazing about it considering they were raised in HK and Macao! I don't see anyone amazed at all the non-Anglo Americans speaking perfect English.

In most Asian nations for example they start learning English at an early age and we know that so being impressed inside and outside America is limited to either American" woah we never started learning that early" or non-american "we do that too!". When the non-Anglo's and Anglo's speak a language other than English that isn't native to them then people are impressed.
