I saw the show last year (in previews) and am enjoyed it immensely. It got a standing ovation and was a delight. It was sold out, theatre goers really liked it. It's a shame it closed. Considering there are worse plays out there, I just don't get it. The music was good, the cast wonderful. (sigh)

@alanbweaver Its because they weren't nominated for for Best Musical at the Tony's if you want your show to survive you have to at least get nominated

I just got the cast recording and I fell in love! Such a shame it's closed as I'm off to NYC next year and would've loved to have seen it. The set is fantastic in this number! I love this show! :D

i was there for closing night. it was amazing. the crowd made it hard for them to progess through the show forcing some actors to improvise. priceless. :)

I don't even want to see this show if it goes on tour..... just because I don't want to see a downsized cheap production, it would be to sad. The screen and set are really things that make this show special.... it would be to sad to see it downsized and elimnated

well I'm almost definatley sure they'll keep the screen. Thats like they key eliment of the show- its what takes you from scene to scene. The only thing that i really see being a HUGE difference is the set changes. Like trap-door wise. Instead they'll just movie on and off into the wings.,

The only show I've ever seen on tour where everything was exactly the same as it is on Broadway was Wicked. Almost everything was the same...i couldn't believe it. But I say legally blonde on broadway and i was expecting the same on tour, and there were so many differences, but it wasn't cheap. it was still really good. laura bell bundy filled in for beck gulsvig cuz she broke her toe. It was great.

It's crazy how much a show changes! I saw it once a month before it closed and then the day before it closed and it changed quited a bit in that month. Nothing drastic, but there were things that I picked out that were different.
