  • Does anybody know the dimensions for this type of truck?

  • what?! automatic 'truckette'? oh god!

  • @1700iDiGuy where i live, all these trucks are manual trans lol

  • Whaaaaaaaaat?!?!? This one doesn't have push button ignition??? Sheesh...

  • @ubcs109 work trucks like these wont come with it...

  • EVERLAST!!!!!

  • i think isuzu npr good choice :D

  • Someone should try driving this with the hood open

  • What yummy, tanned legs you have.

  • theres also an engine brake I BLIEVE. i know hte diesel NPR's have them mounted to the stalk. this one if equipped, not sure why it wouldnt. i believe its on the dash. similar to a jake brake

  • First off, It's a 4m50 mitsubishi motor. 4cylinder 137 horse power. not a 4.7 liter V8

  • ITS GOT NO GAS !!!!

  • that cab must be heavy as hell to lift

  • @riederernicholas95 actually fairly easy. ( unless the assist struts give out. then its royal hell )

  • meep meep meep meep (the horn) (:

  • nice box truck.

  • what was that little knob that you were turning to rev the engine? i have never seen that before.

  • @macbookpro57 high idle control

  • If you think the cylinders are big in that, There are tractors out their that are 6 cylinder 12.0L engines! bloody massive!

  • can u review something a big truck something like a scania trucks? plzz reply

  • there is also a "jake" brake a mechanical engine brake, you cant really demonstrate it while its sitting still. its usually on the stalks like hte npr's

  • WOW, Are you that fucking bored that go you to dealerships and do reviews ? Why do I have to work my balls off every day while you frolic around a dealership taking videos of other peoples cars ?? WTF Am I missing here ??

  • @mvadinan540 he is also a full time student, and working as well

  • Looking at your video, it looks to be a 6 cyclinder not a v8.

  • @richsubishi its a 4 cylinder

  • how r u supposed to see whos behind u when u have the container un the back?

  • @LordKevin92 side mirrors

  • @yamahonkawazuki yeah but not as good as looking with a rear view mirror... :/

  • @LordKevin92 true. ill agree there. but ive driven box trucks for many miles. i rarely ever use teh rearview in any of my vehicles. out of habit. only time is if i have to see what is directly behind me. on box trucks its not that hard. may seem like it at first but really, isnt

  • the Mitsubishi Fuso canter 7th generation is assembled in

    Cairo, Egypt

    Tramagal, Portugal

    Cainta, Rizal, Philippines

  • I have one of these on a 2007 and the dealer says there is nothing wrong with it and it is normal to get between 5 and 7.5 miles to the gallon of diesel

  • i like how you pretty much sit in the crumple zone in one of these things

  • Go Diesel! I don't know why, I just love them!

  • Mitsubishi really knows how to design a solid work truck. I've had experience in the shop and out on the road with these trucks. The performance is good and the engine (both the 4 cylinder and 6 cylinder) is remarkably quieter than an Isuzu. Handling and suspension is about the norm for a cabover medium duty truck. I used to drive my shops FM260, It's managed to handle a great deal of work with very little downtime.

  • reliable work vehicle. from goods to people, it does the job

  • did you check out that 2800 redline? damn!!!!!!!!!!!!!111

  • nice truck

  • Its pretty common here in asia. i never knew its got a 4.9L in4 . i thought it was a 6

  • 2900 redline, hell yea...

  • this one is just a POS automatic, the manual trans is much better, but pretty rare in the US

  • Oh and make a video of a isuzu npr diesel not a gas Cause I dont really hear the rumble like the diesel

  • hey can you please make a video of you test driving it and also make a video of it doing top speed

  • wow, they got 4.9L out of a 4 cylinder inline.

  • DAMN that seatbelt buzzer's annoying.

  • do a toyota previa my wife wants it t :) i found one she begging me to buy it

  • I love Japanese trucks they are so cool.

  • very good

  • thumbs up man! all your videos are cool even the ford ones lol j/k i watch & rate all your vids thank you for making them!!! =D

  • lol

  • sweet tuck. dint knw wot u turned til u sed speed

  • Isn't the passenger compartment heavy to lift?

  • @ saabkyle04

In that location Can you do the startup & test drive off all of your work truck series videos?

  • whats the name of the song at 7:12 ?

  • Looks like chicken coops in the back. Popular configuration for Asian market I bet. They have Fusos and NPRs and Hinos in Asia as soft back configurations. Good for fruit delivery.

  • Actually it is pronounced "fooso". Proper Isuzu with the diesel, just as it should have.

  • @1bentley4ever Haha I figured I'd mis pronounce it, there's not a whole lot of these in my area, only on the rare occasion, it's insane to have a 4.9L inline 4, never knew that was possible haha

  • @saabkyle04 No worries. The Nissan Patrol SUV has a 4.8l L6 gas and I thought that was big. But the Renault Magnum truck has a 12 liter L6 with as much as 500hp.

  • @saabkyle04 would you mind doing a ford npr box truck just to see how it stacks up aganst the mitsu

  • @saabkyle04 hey kyle, you've reveiwed that trailblazer, but not the GMC envoy, can u plaese do so, thanks

  • @saabkyle04 i had a 5.0 litre diesel in an isuzu npr a 5.0 4 cylnder

  • @saabkyle04 some pronounce it Fewso, some as he said fooso. im not sure but i believe hes right iwht teh Fooso pronunciation

  • @saabkyle04 Well, the more modern Isuzu NPR trucks sport a 5.2L 4-cylinder engine. Now THAT'S a big 4-cylinder engine!

  • @1bentley4ever actually the isuzu npr is better than the mitsubishi fuso Just see dzmigrodzki's channel ecuase the isuzu npr diesel engine rumble really loud like an earthquake

  • @MattEricV I know what an earthquake feels like. Trust me; I live in coastal/volcanic California. The NPR sounds like a more traditional Japanese diesel. I like the sound of the diesels on the 1990s Hino box trucks. IDK what the model names are, though. Do you know?

  • @1bentley4ever Sorry I dont know the model engine thing.

  • @MattEricV No worries.

  • @1bentley4ever Every friday a landscaping group comes to my neighborhood and they drive an isuzu npr .One time I was riding my bike when the isuzu npr almost hit me when they were driving it.I mean like those trucks are fast

  • @MattEricV Either that or they were extremely careless. Good thing you weren't run over.

  • @1bentley4ever See dzmigrodzki's channel because he has videos of him self driving the isuzu npr.But chevrolet copied isuzu cause the copied the isuzu npr and renamed it to chevy w4500

  • @MattEricV I did see that. Chevy copies NPRs. Says something about Isuzus compared to GM commercial trucks.

  • @1bentley4ever Hi this is mattericv's sister my asking about the mitsubishi fuso. How do you take out the engine. are you big so you can drive a car? if you are big and can drive a car then just tell my brother and he will tell me.Does the isuzu truck have cupholders? what kind of car do yuo have? does it have an emergency exit you know i saw a car and it had a emergency exit thats what my brother said that kind of car was a bmw.

  • @MattEricV Those are a LOT of interesting questions. I am no mechanic. But I think they take in engine out from underneath the truck. I am tall enough to drive a car, yes. But I don't drive, and don't currently own a car. I don't know if it has cupholders. But it definitely should. I never knew a car could have an emergency exit. But many trucks and buses have hatches on their roofs to get out those ways.

  • @1bentley4ever See dzmigrodzki's channel because he has videos of him self driving the isuzu npr.But chevrolet copied isuzu because they copied the isuzu npr and renamed it to chevy w4500

  • hey kyle , what means in depth tour?

  • Would one need a CDL (commercial drivers license) to drive this

  • CD Player? Power Windows? I guess they want you to haul cargo in convenient comfort.

  • did someone notice that brandon reeves auto world is in front of monroe motor company ??? you can see it at 00:25

  • @bartolo456 Yeah they're neighbors haha

  • i wanna drive it soo bad :D

  • y would u need to control the idle speed?

  • @kendrickevans301 To warm up the engine when it's really cold, that's one reason

  • @TheKoreanX i know, i was jusy being sarcastic, and also when the truck has auxilary objects such as snow plow, crane, etc. You need the motor to spin faster so the altenator produces more power. If you'll ever notice, a dumpster truck picking up a dumpster, most of the time, the operator will adjust the idle speed to high because you need that extra power.

  • @kendrickevans301 Oh. Well I couldn't tell.

  • I love the work truck. I especially love the turbo diesel. It is nice man!

  • this comment is random) did u know when u pause the video and press and hold any arrow key you can start playing the game snake?!

  • looks like

  • @crystalscan2002 i do not like this truck

  • nice truck i will get the same and nice vid

  • Kyle, I thought I saw a silver Ford Freestyle wagon, but I could be wrong. If I'm right can you do a review on that? Thanks in advance!!!!!

  • I want to drift with this thing hahaha :P

  • @55chevy426 hahaha. NO !

  • This spec sheet (can't post link, Google for '06_FE145.pdf') seems to suggest it's actually a four-cylinder 4.9 L turbo diesel. A lot of these workhorse diesel engines have a very large displacement per cylinder (>1.0 L)!

Great video though, Kyle. I genuinely love how it's an awesome Corvette one day (w00t pop-up headlights :P) and something very different like this the next. :)

  • @strategyoracle Hey thanks for letting me know that, I'll google it and check that out!

  • @strategyoracle Thanks again, I annotated it, you're right, that's insane!! Never would I have thought that :O

  • @saabkyle04 thats what keeps us coming back lol. ( that and no one does it like the way you do. ) i drove an npr wiht a 5 litre diesel. ( bought one shortly thereafter. ran a courier service out of it. ) i believe the engine brake button is on the right hand side of the gauge clustr. above the button for the window lock. i know this truck has one.

  • @strategyoracle 4.9liters L4 ? Big cylinders ! It only needs 80 PSI now :P

  • @strategyoracle Checked scania.com and found a 12 litre I6 and 16 litre V8 :O

Then again these are made for torque, the weakest have over 1000nm and the Bugatti Veyron has got 1250...

  • @Ty4ons Yeah -- when the engines get that large, you still have to keep their design simple, so a 16 litre V8 makes a lot more sense than a 16 litre V32! :P Because they run at relatively low speed, it doesn't matter so much that each cylinder is monster!

The other thing is that they have to run reliably for many thousands of hours while producing large amounts of torque. Different durability requirements mean they often have lower power/torque per litre.

  • Pretty Nice Truck. A lot of companies here in New York City use this truck.

  • any idea whats that fan for under the left side

  • @infinity3jif radiator

  • You should o a test drive vid of a work truck LMAO

  • thats a cute loud truck i could t drive it it a truck

  • ok why would you want to change the idle speed?

  • @jeepersman11 sometimes trucks like this have PTO driven accesories (pump, compressor) and you need the extra rpms to operate them properly

  • @barnie7219 yep. the altenator in my offroad jeep only charges at 2500 rpm

  • Great video as always!

  • i call em fooso

  • my uncle drives a diesel manual version , over here in ireland its called the mitsubishi fuso canter , the brand is mitsubishi-fuso ! We tend to rename cars weirdly here , the chevy aveo is called the Insufferable piece of shit-box!!!!

  • @Rorycarguy hahahaha I heard that, I've heard canter as well, but not used very much here

  • @saabkyle04 oh really , i always wonder why car branding changes so much from country to country

  • todays my bday, haha

  • @TheGiraffe19 Haha happy birthday dude!

  • @TheGiraffe19 how old are ya?

  • the cab is the same basicly as the w series gm trucks and the izusu cab overs. there are a lot of shared parts.

  • That must be weird from the driver's seat. Looking down at nothing!

  • Whats the name of that nob that you used to turn the idle up higher?

  • @BackyardFLPB idle adjuster i think

  • woah a single turbo v8 diesel, nice!

  • Gotta love Turbo Diesels.

  • nice video

  • Can you do a 2010 Chevy Equinox? And didn't you have a birthday not to long ago?
