Thanks Michael. I understand. I play U2 songs with my group with acoustic guitar and now was think to play with electric. Never i had fender but now i'm thinking to buy one.please see us in Youtube: wind sindicate  and recomend some models to play U2 versions

Made in Mexico (MIM) strats are pretty good and not expensive. You may need to replace pups.

Don't buy based on what others have or say. Take your time and try many at the stores. There are many models with different neck shapes, sizes and radiuses. There is the v, C, U and other neck shapes. You should choose what is comfortable. For U2 you want standard single coil pups. I think the HSS is a humbucker which won't work for many songs like Bad. Take your time and learn the basics about a guitar before choosing.
