You started out strong, one of the most important parts is a nice piece of wood and this one is just awesome. But actually, visually, what's most impressive to me is the rock pieces, I like them under the crook of the branch.
Awesome tank, your tetras looked freaked out in it haha they were like, what is this now?
I been wondering about this for awhile, I have a bag of white sand that I brought home from a trip from Florida. Is it safe to use for fresh water fish tank since the water there is salty and I would think that there is still allot of salt residue on the sand, and if I wash it, what would be the most better way? I have used vingar and hot water and detergent to remove lime scale and salt from tanks and grave that I have found in the garbage. But sand??
Awesome set-up as usual Bolly! I love that piece of Driftwood in there. I'm actually considering tearing down my 5g and rescapeing it because I''m having a lot of difficulties with green algaes.
Either way I love the design. Nanos are the way to go!
@bolly12345 I have not actually. I was finally able to get the algae under control. The only addition I may do is try and track down a nice semi-rare crypt for a centerpiece plant.
I hope to see you around FTTV. I've been super busy so I haven't been very active.
@GlassCityCichlids Nano just means small, there's no filter because I wasn't keeping the tank running. I stripped the tank down just after I finished filming.
how do you know that one plant provides enough oxygen for those fish?

Pretty! I love that wood! But that tank defiantly looks smaller than a 15 gallon, looks more like a 5-ish gallon tank!
MyFishCare101 3 months ago
@MyFishCare101 Thanks.
The tank is 15 gallons! The camera makes it looks smaller. I used this tank for African Cichlid fry.
bolly12345 3 months ago
@bolly12345 Ah OK, sorry about that :P Are these kind of aquariums (without a rim) expensive?
MyFishCare101 3 months ago
@MyFishCare101 Aye no problem ;)
I bought the tank for around £15.00 so pretty cheap.

Wow looks amazing!
That would be a great coldwater tank for white cloud mountain minnows! I have a small tank like that I might try it.
