I've been in a church that primarily uses praise songs that focus on me and how I "feel". This song focuses on Christ and the glory and magnitude of what he did.

You cannot understand John 5:30 if you are looking that verse in the perspective of Mo.
To better understand that verse you have to put yourself in the shoes of his disciples who are the eyewitness and was with Jesus. If u look at the entire 18th chapter of Ezekiel there is a point being made. The point is if u have a good man (who obeys God's Law) with an "evil" son then the father will not be put to death for his son's sin. This song is soooo beautiful! The text is very moving amd gives me goosebumps when it gets to the "And bursting forth.." verse. I really like the traditional feel of the meter. I've been in a church that primarily uses praise songs that focus on me and how I "feel". This song focuses on Christ and the glory and magnitude of what he did.

I was a muslim but converted to Christianity.
The thing with Islam is that you HOPE you get into heaven, but you are not sure.
With Christianity you are SURE of this (in order to get into heaven one must be perfect, since God is perfect) Jesus took all of our sins away and became sin for us, while accepting Christ I become perfect through his blood.

Also, you seem to have ignored the rest of Jesus's reply, where He tells the young man that to inherit eternal life he must ultimately take up his cross and follow HIM. Do you believe this whole passage or not? Your quotation seems to imply that you believe it validates the muslim view of Jesus as simply a great prophet and not God. In the scripture you quote Jesus clearly claims that HE is the way to eternal life? Can man grant eternal life? Of course not. God(Christ)alone is our only hope.

You cannot understand John 5:30 if you are looking that verse in the perspective of Mo.
To better understand that verse you have to put yourself in the shoes of his disciples who are the eyewitness and was with Jesus. You have to look at the scriptures using the eyes of his followers and early Christians and not from Mo. In the same way if I am to study Koran I have to see it in the same way as Mo sees it.

I cannot locate in the bible that Jesus said or commanded his followers to worship him. But also we cannot find Jesus forbidding anyone who comes to him worship him. All i know is that he accepts any form of worship that is directed to him. And about the issue of goodness Jesus is good but he is not as good as his father because on earth Jesus has the freedom to commit sin. But Jesus the Son of God has proven to men and to his Father God that that he didnt commit any sin. Compare that with Mo.

Actually He did! God the Father doesn't have any sin for the Son to take on!
If u look at the entire 18th chapter of Ezekiel there is a point being made. The point is if u have a good man (who obeys God's Law) with an "evil" son then the father will not be put to death for his son's sin. And if this evil son has a son who obey's God's law then the good son will not be put to death for the evil father's sin. This passage is not talking about Jesus dying.

all our logic becomes from God, because he "started" it. what i mean is that all the laws of the phisics and chemestry had to have a creator: every fine product, MUST have a superior designer. God is superior to all those things (time, universe, matter) because He created those things; God is eternal, so He can create efemeral things, like us, like the universe.

i didn't mean that. i belive in evolution theory, but i know that it must be something bigger than the universe and matter. Question: where did the matter present in the "cosmic egg", according to the "big-bang" theory came from?

Ofcourse, i don't have an answer as to where the universe came from, or how it came to be.
As soon as there is any evidence pointing to a God i will surely consider that.
But (to me) that evidence is not there, so i remain in the position that "i don't know".
To me, it's useless to invoke a God just because we don't know (yet), certainly historically we 'used' to refer to god for things we now have a much better understanding of.

I agree we both have a different point of view.
And i certainly hold any personal 'god experiences' you had for being a reality to you.
Excelent you state that you 'believe' in evolution as evolution would still be fact if a god reveals him/her/itself.
I'm definately NOT saying god does not exist, as i can not, and never will prove that.

no i feel God around me... i see God in person's faces, i can even see God talking to me, when you put me those questions, i feel He saying to me with love: "do you belive in me or not? I am here, despite you doubt of me" BUT MY DOUBTS MAKE MY FAITH IN HIM EVEN BIGGER AND BIGGER AND BIGGER AND STRONGER AND STROGER AND STROGER

God is in you, brother!!!! yeah, i'm a person who loves science (astronomy, physics, chemestry, maths) and also loves God, and belives in Him. i don't see any disagreaing point between them.
do you know what a nobel prize winner said about science and religion: "who comfronts science with religion, or religion with science, is an ignorant person in both subjects". Evolution's theory, Big-bang theory and God RULE FOREVER

Please explain why the universe can be eternal? and what is "behind" the universe? another universe? and what's behind that another universe? another universe? you may not find an answer to this question, but i have it: God. To actual science, is the more true answer to this question. As more as you study, more you know that it must be a God
