  • It's touching to see jews who love Jesus. A lot of christians are jst hippocrites. They talk abt Jesus but don't live like him. Also he wasn't just put on a cross once 2,000 yrs ago... He's continually put on the cross time & time again.. Tied to a hellish existence by mankind!

  • Powerful ministry and wonderful music, what else can be said. I have followed this ministry since 1978. I love the songs and the love they have for the LORD. Shalom

  • if you believe that jesus is the massiah then you are christian, not jewish. Jews for jesus are not jewish, they are christian.

  • If we believe that Jesus is the Jewish Messiah as you say, how do we stop being Jewish?

  • because you are breaking one of the ten commandments set out by god, as not no warship a false prophet. Therefore you do not share judaism's religious point of view. Jews dont follow the new testament in which christ is mentioned. Stop trying to hijack judaism

  • Judaism of the Hebrew scriptures speaks about relationship with God. God gave our Jewish people the Torah (Law) so that when we broke the laws we would be reminded of our sinful nature and would return to God and receive forgiveness for our sins. The Torah says the penalty of sin is death. God instituted the shedding of blood as a sacrifice to pay the penalty. The Jewish prophets said God would send a Messiah to perform an eternal sacrifice. We believe He is Jesus. Who do you think it is?

  • Us Jews dont believe that the massiah has come yet.

  • Actually there are thousands of Jews who do believe that the Messiah has already been here once and will soon return. In the end millions of Jews, God's Chosen People, will believe Jesus is the Messiah.

Just think of all the people He hung out with while He was here on earth. Almost all of them were Jewish. And they believed He was Who He said He was.

  • I do not believe as a Jew that the massiah has come yet.

Not to say that I dont believe in the purpose of christianity.

  • well, sparky, since the purpose of Christianity is to present Jesus as the Savior and long awaited Messiah, among other things, how can you believe in the purpose of Christainty?

  • being Jewish is not their religion. It is their nationality. Judaism is their religion. So when a Jewish person accepts Jesus as the true Messiah, they are still Jewish.

  • "being Jewish is not their religion. It is their nationality. Judaism is their religion. So when a Jewish person accepts Jesus as the true Messiah, they are still Jewish. "

    To be israeli is nationality.

To be jewish is to practice judaism.

  • As of late Israel has only been a nation for some 60 years. Even so, there are plenty of Jews in Israel who do not practice Judaism, and yet they are still referred to as Jews because of their blood heritage. There are Jews that don't believe in God at all, and yet they are still considered Jews because of their blood heritage. Why does believing in Jesus as the Jewish Messiah change someones heritage?

  • It's not about heritage. It's about A) Preserving the Jewish character of Israel from missionary onslaughts, and B) the FACT that many Messianic Jews have surreptitiously attempted to infiltrate Israeli Yeshivas to spread the Gospel.

Atheist Jews are still considered Jewish, because a Jew who is an atheist is simply non-practicing, while a Jew who is a Christian is considered someone who is practicing idolatry, and is therefore a lapsed Jew, not a Jew.

  • It seems like you are torn between two ideas. Biblically speaking, the reason why the Jewish people were set apart, was so that they could make the God of Israel known. Atheism is the exact opposite. Ask the orthodox and see if they don't agree. I understand the problem with Judaism being undermined by Jesus' claims. There is no doubt that Jesus had a major problem with the religious hypocrites of His time as well. All that aside, He did not come to judge them, but to bring God's grace...

  • What is the character that needs to be preserved beyond being a witness to the true living God?

  • I don't want to step on any toes, but what is the difference with IDOLATRY of someone worshiping a false God and one who worships possessions and puts them above God or keeping laws for the sake of legalism and putting them above doing God's will? This is what Jesus talks about throughout his ministry.

  • You claim Jews who believe in Jesus are hi-jacking Judaism, but in reality Judaism changed drastically after 70AD when the temple was destroyed. If you were to be true to Biblical Judaism, you must consider what the Bible prophesied about the Messiah. If you believe in that Messiah of the Tenach, then He must have come before the destruction of the 2nd Temple! Jews and Gentiles who believe that Jesus is the Messiah are being true to Biblical Judaism. If Jesus is not the Messiah then who is?

  • Besides spiritual upheavals between Karaite and Rabbinical Judaism, can you provide some evidence that Judaism has altered in character since 70A.D. in any theological manner? It has changed in terms of there now being Conservative Jews, Reform Jews, etc., however, Rabbinical Judaism has a firm grounding in the Tanakh. The absence of the Temple doesn't nullify Judaism; periods of diaspora and exile in Babylon kept Judaism going despite the absence of sacrifices.

  • if you want theological explanations go to our jewsforjesus:org website and find the articles under /answers/theology/atonement

  • Basically the fundamental understanding of messianic prophecy has drastically been altered to exclude what Jesus fulfilled. We have a video that explains it briefly called "The Theology of Judaism". /watch?v=Aqj8JToKggI

  • This article is also a good example since you brought up sacrifice. jewsforjesus:org /publications/issues/4_4/yomkippur

  • sparky....according to you if a Mexican accepts Jesus as the true Messiah, they are no longer Mexicans. Right? Any single person alive can come to believe Jesus is the Messiah and they will then be Christians. That would be their religion...no need to change their country of origin! :)

  • CANT YOU PUT IN SOME OF THE MUSIC?

  • We have music samples on our website. See the 5 links attached to this video.
