Chris lip synced on Defying Gravity, Lea lip synced on Faithfully (except Phoenix) to preserve her voice, and Mark sounds way better / different on the track of Sweet Caroline, and Cory also doesn't sound very good live (but he had no vocal training before Glee, so I still admire him for singing live, as opposed to Chris). Most of it was live, though. But you are wrong in saying that they don't use auto tune on a few cast members. That's my point.

Chris Colfer's voice is a very high pitch and very different, just because it's unusual doesn't mean it's autotuned.

And about redoing the whole song... do you know how many times they record one song? About 10 - 20 times. Why do you think all those Glee songs sound so smooth? 2) I am well aware that certain aspects of the song are layered and corrected, my point however is that I have heard these people singing live and I know they really can sing well, so when it's been changed on glee it isn't due to bad singing, it's because they made a mistake or the vocals just weren't strong enough.
