@dinfg6 No, sorry, I don't have any Don Rose at KKIS. When the station was KINQ it was automated. When the jocks did their KKIS-AM shows, they baby-sat the four reel-to-reel machines in the FM studio.
@dinfg6 At KKIS, we used the Selector system to rotate the music, but unlike KKIQ, KKDV and that Solano station, the jocks had a little leeway so we could add music we like. KKIQ had a chance to have me on many times. Some people thought for years that they had the same ownership because of the similarity of the call letters.
Who were the owners of KKIS AM and FM in the early 1990's. The airchecks of the KKIS format resemble todays KKDV, KUIC and KKIQ But I noticed that KKIS became the DIablo Valley Translator of KSJO 92.3 in San Jose in the Mid to late 1990's and the Kiss Brand left Diablo Valley for 98.1 FM KISQ by Clear Channel then Chancellor in 1996. Its interesting that the Fomat returned to 92.1 in 2004-2005 as soon as 95.7 KKDV flipped from Classic Rock to Country.
Do you have aircheck when 92.1 FM was KINQ? or when Dr. Don Rose was at KKIS at 990 or 92.1FM

Yeah, they are good jingles. Better than at any other station I've worked.
