very nice sounding reverb! I plan to order one of your B-verb kits my question is what kind of sound should i be expecting from the chip reverb, vs spring?

Ive tried a couple of chip reverbs and they are sounding too echoeish even before they are maxed out.

The B-verb for the EVJ and my other digital reverb kits sound very much like a good spring reverb.

The guitar is not a productions unit . It is a prototype Bigsby guitar made by Gretsch about 10 years ago. Model BYWT. Check them out at bigsbyguitars. I love the guitar. I plays great and sounds like a cross between a Tele and a Gretsch.

Bruce, I too have your Musicmaster Bass Mod, fantastic! I also did another mod to mine recently, Pentode/Triode Switch. DPDT switch, strap pin 5 to pin 6 of the

6AQ5 tubes via 1K 5W resistor. Try it. I'd like your thoughts on the subject. I did the mod based on a schematic I plagerized from on a deluxe reverb, just had to figure out how to do it with the 6AQ5s. Would be a nice kit.

I haven't liked the pentode/triode switches I've heard much. The triode tends to sound "mushy".

Hi.

I bought a musicmaster and your mod kit. I would like to place a master volume in the musicmaster. Is this what a 10-uator kit does? Also, would it be possible to place the valve junior reverb into the musicmaster amp? Or could one be incorporated somehow into that amp?

The 10-uator works better than a master volume because it controls the volume after the power tubes, which is where the best overdrive tone comes from.

It would be possible to add a B-Verb type circuit to the MusicMaster but I haven't done the integration yet. So many projects, so little time!

Yes but it CONVERTS the amp into a reverb unit. The output to the speaker will be very low and not contain include the reverb. If you want to ADD reverb to your amp, take a look at the BitMo B-verb kit.
