  • When he said there is very little evidence that god exists he is being too generous. There is no scientific evidence that god exists. Now I do agree that the universe requirers an explanation as why it is here and why we exist in it, but there is just as much evidence to say that the Greek god Zues is the cause as there is to say that the Christian god is the cause. None. I do like his 4-part evolutionary brain hypothesis but I don't think he is the originator of this idea.

  • Awesome. Thank you for sharing.

  • in al-Quran has been explained

"Explain to me about the people who make the Lord desires. So Can you be a guardian over him?, Or Do you think that most of them hear or understand. they had no other, just like cattle, they are even further astray (from cattle). "(Al-Furqan :43-44)

  • who is in control? i love this one every time i look at the brain picture thats wath always comes to me the one in control is the horse not the rider on the brain's world, i never finished high school, im interested on this because im weird,

  • tres interessant...

  • so there's no room in science for a sould and we basically live once and that's it? all we are is a lump of cells that have evolved over a lot of years?

  • @HenrydeBeli The truth can be painful. However that does not mean you can't have wonderful experiences. Your first kiss, your favorite movie, talking with your best friend, being in love can all be relished even though there is currently no evidence for a soul.

  • You mean the new vision of fraud.

  • There is no evolution of the brain. They pound this word into our mind over and over again by the secular and Jewish media in order to control our thoughts. Evolution is dead and refuted, like it or not.

  • @FrogMan1711 Evolution is not dead and refuted. Go read one of the thousands of books and research papers by evolutionary biologists that explain the overwhelming evidence and how it works. Most people who say evolution by natural selection is false have never read anything on it by a biologist, they have only listened to Intelligent design proponents ( who are not evolutionary biologist) and they don't even understand the basics of how Natural Selection works.

  • Excellent!

  • Religious-based presentation. However, a brief overview of the triune brain model originally proposed by Dr. Paul MacLean, who performed hands-on anatomical analyses of human brains (cadavers), mammalian brains, and reptile brains.

    02:49 Reptilian Complex (reptile)

    03:19 Limbic System (old mammalian)

    03:38 Neocortex (new mammalian)

I hope to have a short and more scientific presentation in a few weeks. In the meantime, The Triune Brain in Evolution is available on-line at Google Books.

  • Yeah, if you already have a basic understanding of the Triune Brain Theory then this video is pretty uninformative.

  • I have an interesting question that i havnt really seen answered yet. At what age should people be having children to better(increase the speed of) the evolution process?

If we have children too early aren't we just passing down our parents genes?

  • according to this clip it'd be after age 25?

  • His final breakdown reminds me of Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs. Thats cool

  • wow i thought he was going to tell me something useful and objective , this sadly it is not..

  • its amzing how smart humans can be

  • Evolution places millions of years of death and suffering before the fall of man. Square peg in a round hole. Sorry it doesnt fit. What is this Unitarian theology or something?

O Timothy, keep that which is committed to thy trust, avoiding profane and vain babblings, and oppositions of science falsely so called: 21 Which some professing have erred concerning the faith. Grace be with thee. Amen.

    1 Tim 6:20-21 (KJV)

  • Elkhonon Goldberg's book, The Executive Brain: "The frontal lobes perform the most advanced and complex functions in all of the brain, the so-called executive functions. They are linked to intentionality, purposefulness, and complex decision-making. They reach significant development only in man; arguably, they make us human. The frontal lobes are the brain's command post. Motivation, drive, foresight, and clear vision of one's goals are central to success in any walk of life.

  • Frontal lobes will save the world. it helps people to learn that our most primitive behaviours of fear and aggression live in the reptile brain, that computes in terms of attack or run away...if they can step outside the emotive in that instant and view things from a detached perspective they have a new choice as to what happens next. the trick is how to turn the flobes on
