no. someone just did this trick for me as well as several other people at a bar i was at, and i assure you there was no fan :) i mean, dude, we were sitting at the bar. it was my bill. i folded it up. I placed it in his hand and watched as that thing spun around in front of my face.
I think it's a piece of foam diffusing the fan... Same principle used in that Harry Potter levitating ball board game... FYI, Criss Angel uses a LOT of accomplices... Whenever he says "We've never met before, right?" He's LYING!!! It's an old trick. Never trust an "Illusionist"!
